   From enquiry to delivery, my customer service experience with High Stream Moving was flawless and hassle-free. The pick-up date was kept on time as promised. I have also received my parcel in time and in a very good condition as I was shown on the day of delivery. I highly recommend High Stream Moving for international freight forwarding.

   You can be assured of great service.

   We rented a truck from them and moved our stuff from a house in Las Vegas to a condo in North Las Vegas. There were some problems with the truck, but we were told about it before we started moving and so no issues with the move. The truck was super and organized. They take good care of their drivers. The drivers are all very nice and helpful. If you do the math on their rates vs other trucking companies, the rates are comparable. You can be assured of great service.

   I had to make a long distance move from Long Island, New York, to California. The job had to be done in a very short time, and at a cost that was acceptable to me, I did a lot of research on which cargo companies to use and my research showed me that this company offered a great price, the best possible packaging materials, and the best of customer service. So I called them. They told me what their price would be. I agreed and asked how long it would take to receive my belongings and they told me 3-5 business day. They picked up my things and send me tracking info. They were very flexible and were able to deliver the goods within 3 days after we agreed on the pickup time, I received exactly what I paid for. In total, I was very happe with the service that I received.

   I thank this company for a job well done! We ordered the transportation of furniture to Toronto here. The dispatcher called me and we agreed on the time of arrival. The movers arrived on time, but the cargo was divided into two parts and it gad to be transported vary carefully so as not to damage it during transpotation. Fortunately, my fears were in vain! The movers carefully moved all the furniture to a new place and unloaded on time. Thank you, you helped us o lot!

   They were punctual and did a very good job. I had many different boxes and pieces of furniture to move. I have to be honest and say that the service provided by this company was a litter slower than expected, but I understand that they had a lot to do, the order could not be completed in one trip. They also did a good job of keeping track of the days that were set aside for this job in order to keep the customer informed and to know what to do in order to finish this job.

   I was scammed out of $2500 by High Stream Moving. I used them for a cross border move from Toronto to NY. I went through a detailed quote process that included photos and videos of everything that was being moved. The moving contract included sections allowing them to charge additional fees for things like packing and extra space - when I inquired about this and asked them to provide a true all-inclusive, all-in price - while providing all of the details about what was being moved and what was needed in terms of packing / assembly - they continued to reaffirm my quote price several times. So I signed the contract. On the move day, they showed up 30 minutes late, with just 1 individual who did not speak english. I needed to help on much of the packing. The other 2 movers did not show up for 3 more hours, causing me to miss the delivery elevator window and have to rebook and pay additional fees. When my items arrived in NY the next day, after the truck had pulled up to the building, I received a text saying that the price had increased by $2500 from the quote price. The movers then sat in front of my building, refusing to unload anything until I paid them the extra amount. There was no invoice and no payment instructions - it was a text message asking me to pay them via e-transfer, or else they would drive away with my belongings. When I asked what happened to cause the significant price increase - and why they were only telling me about this right as the truck was arriving - they gave me vague responses about how more furniture was moved / more packing was done relative to the quote price. This is despite the fact I provided them with detailed photos / videos of everything being moved, and confirmed multiple times the packing / disassembly that was needed, and they still stood firm on the quote price - right up until they had my belongings to use to extort me out of more money. On top of that, they forgot an entire box worth of items in Toronto that I am still waiting for. This company is a scam - please do not believe the fake positive reviews.

   This was an absolutely horrible experience from start to finish. What was supposed to be a straightforward flat-rate move turned into a stressful and expensive situation filled with unexpected charges and pressure tactics. On delivery day, they reinterpreted basic terms like “main floor delivery” to justify adding extra fees that were never clearly explained upfront. Then came additional charges for stairs — again, not properly disclosed at the time of booking. When I questioned these charges, they refused to accept credit cards, which is extremely concerning and removes any level of consumer protection. I was forced to proceed with a wire transfer just to move forward. Despite paying around $5,000, my belongings were delayed and placed into a storage facility far from my home, creating even more inconvenience and stress. I then had to pay approximately another $600 just to retrieve my own items. Communication was poor throughout. Calls went unanswered, updates were unclear, and I was left chasing them for basic information while trying to manage an already stressful move. Do not use this company.

   Hidden fees, damaged goods and no accountability

   The worst moving company we have ever dealt with. I contracted them for my move from California to Toronto. The agent we interacted with was initially responsive and following up via calls and emails, however that was extremely short lived. As soon as we signed the contract and paid the deposit, they started showing their true colors - they didn’t answer our calls, didn’t respond to messages and there was absolutely NO communication from the driver or the agent once the pickup was done. We had to consistently follow up several times to get a minimal update from them. They will knowingly not answer your calls or respond to messages once you sign the contract. The driver didn’t have enough packing tape during pickup and we had to shell from our own pocket to buy tape. What moving company doesn’t carry enough tape? It’s laughable. Nobody from the company specifically told us what documents were required to cross the border and why. Moreover, even after providing ALL the usual documents given to us by customs, they claimed that we didn’t have the “requested” documents even after they never discussed it with us, and charged us $200 for customs documents preparation. They also charged us $350+ for “waiting time at the border” (we had to argue A LOT to get it waived, but they kept blaming us) because apparently they don’t follow the standard procedure and have another way of getting the stuff across. The final invoice contained WAY more charges that were NEVER discussed/revealed in the beginning. They damaged our TV, and “forgot” to bring one of our items. When we told them about the TV, they refused to claim responsibility even though it got damaged during transit. It was in working condition before pickup and was checked by their staff. The item they forgot to deliver got mixed up with another customer’s shipment and got sent somewhere else. All these guys know is how to get money from their customers and not deliver. They will NEVER accept their fault and always give lame excuses. Please trust all the negative reviews of this company stay away from them

   Scam artists

   They quoted $490 with no hidden fees and then tried to charge $220 extra and refused to bring in the piano without the funds. This is on top of arriving almost an hour late. This business is a scam. Do not use them.

    Absolute trash, do not use them

    Used them in July 2022 . High Stream Moving is an absolute joke. Do NOT use this company. In fact, if I could give them 0 stars I would. My Items took 2 months to arrive from Ontario to NS. And they continued to delay and delay and delay providing false dates just to pacify me. This company will cause you a lot of stress if you use them. I highly recommend you don't the price seems good, it's too good to be true. The fine print is very misleading stating they won't deliver your goods unless they have a full truck. holding your stuff hostage. They request payment before unloading the truck and they may intentionally leave items behind if they don't have room stating they will bring them at a later time (the next truck load). So they have your money and your stuff at that point. When my first load showed up it was 11 PM and one guy, took us until 2 am to finish and I had to help the guy. They didn't even give me any notice. I am still currently without a $600 Motorized desk 2 months later. They also called me asking me if I had boxes from someone else's order with numbers on them. Still waiting for my desk and its been 2 Months. I have had to order a new desk from Motion grey in BC. New edit from 2024: The 5 star reviews on here are fake. Also to mention, they stole my propane tank and connector. They said they were unable to deliver it because it is dangerous goods, but had no issues taking it from my residence when emptying the house. New edit from 2024 Sept. High Stream Moving claims my review is a competitor claiming a bad review. I can promise you this is not a competitor as this is their tactic not speak to the real 1 star reviews.
