   Do Not Believe The Good Reviews.

   All of the good reviews are fake. These people are as unscrupulous and underhanded as they come. They hand off your furniture to other companies spread all over the country, and by the time you realize how badly you've been ripped off they've insulated themselves from all responsibility. Each company blames the other. The ruthless liars we dealt with were named Jack Medvedev (out of Nashville), Nicholas Brown, Josh Miller and Gabby London (the worst liar of all) from Boynton Beach, FL. After they reel you in with a low-ball price and get your deposit, they begin adding so many charges that it ends being twice what you would pay with a reputable company. Without your knowledge they will mark everything on the pick-up list as chipped, torn or scratched. That way you have no recourse once you realized that they broke your furniture and failed to deliver some of it. They were such a nightmare I'm considering calling the attorney general to request an investigation.

   Disastrous Move with this company.

   This company did not meet even the lowest standard of moving. They quoted me 1 price and then a few days later, doubled the original price by saying that the gentleman who talked to me originally had not priced it correctly. By then I had already put a down payment of almost $1000 and could not afford to lose that money. Neither of the gentlemen who talked to me mentioned that they were brokers and not actual movers or I would not have engaged them. I had heard that brokers would take you to the cleaners and this was true. My move was delivered 10 days after the legal due date. And during that time, J&J Moore did not have any idea where my belongings were. I asked them for some reimbursement for the days that they went over the guarantee and their only answer was that I would have to call the actual moving company. They took no responsibility for the disastrous move that caused the loss of a 100 year old antique baby cradle, damage to all of my furniture that did show up and complete shattering of all my mother's china which I valued dearly. The gentleman who delivered my household goods indicated that the heavy large boxes had been dumped on top of the boxes marked "FRAGILE" that I had packed. He found my belongings in a rental storage area in Minnesota and supposedly that was all that was there. The damage done to my furniture that did arrive had gouges, tears, legs and rockers broken off and many of the boxes were ripped open with clothes, papers and books spilling out everywhere. Quite a few of my boxes did not arrive but I got furniture and boxes that belonged to someone else. (I feel sorry for those people as they were certainly missing their items.) There was no bill of lading when I received my belongings so I could not note the damage as the furniture was delivered. Also a lot of the boxes and furniture did not have the stickers on them that were supposed to match up with the original inventory. I have made many moves during my lifetime of 74 years and I have never come close to losing so much and having so many of my belongings lost or ruined. The antique chairs I had cannot be repaired as they were too damaged. It has taken me a while to face this horrendous move and file the claim (which took me weeks to compile). I have been devastated as I had to review all the damage, come up with prices (when so much was valuable and also sentimental) and try to move on. Overall, it was one of the most disastrous moves I have ever experienced -- and no one I know has had such a bad experience. There was nothing good about it. The people at J&J Moore Moving were not at all helpful and I am just overwhelmed that such a bad move could occurl. It cost me over $5,000 and I lost much of that in the move. I would NEVER recommend this company for anything. I do not have any photos to add as I had to turn them all in for my claim for damage.

   Scam Company- do Not go With This Fraud Company!! Scammers.

   This company is a complete fraud!! They admitted to not properly recording my inventory, but because it was their fault I had to pay $1000 more than what was originally quoted. I already have a lawyer on this and it's highly illegal what they did- it's called Bait and Switch. For those that want to file a formal complaint along with me, report them to the Federal Motor Carrier safety administration, also report them to state regulatory agencies and BBB- let's take their illegal ethical practice down together! Also, Joe and Gabby are complete liars and FRAUDS. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM- A COMPLETE SCAM. FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME- I WILL SUPPORT YOUR CLAIM. ALSO, ALL OF THEIR GOOD REVIEWS ARE DONE BY THEM- USED FROM THE SAME IP ADDRESS.

   Take Advantage of Customers.

   I originally spoke on the phone with a man named Joe, he was very kind and professional and gave me a price that was almost half of what I had been quoted by another company. They called me before the move to make sure I understood everything and notified me that they would give my cell number to the movers so that I could reach them directly. 2 days before the move, I received a call from the mover, Sal, asking if they could move me in early, that day. I was at work and couldn't even move into my new apartment yet. This happened 2 more times, getting calls asking if they could move early, which I could not. They day they picked up my stuff from the storage unit, they told me that they would have to charge me $250 extra, insisting it be paid in cash, since my unit was more than $75 feet from the door. I called J and J and they said "We don't have anything to do with the movers, if that's what they're saying that's what you'll have to pay" I negotiated this to $150. This behavior continued, adding more and more to the cost as we went along. I was supposed to pay $610 at move in, they said I was to give them $1000, it was ridiculous. The whole process added stress to an already stressful moving time. The guys dropped my stuff, their truck barely started (which they laughed about when I brought it up to them) and were all around disrespectful. When I tried to get in touch with Joe again, I was told "He doesn't even have access to your files anymore" whatever that means. The whole company is a scam, don't put yourself through this.

   Beware this is a BROKER not a moving company.

   This company is shady and deceptive. Do NOT use them. MY job fell through and I ended up canceling my moving contract within the allotted time frame but they refuse to refund my deposit as promised. No one picks up the phone or answers emails. The website listed on their contract isn't even a real URL anymore. SHADY SHADY. Be sure to find a direct mover not a broker when planning a long distance move.

   J&J Moore Nationwide are not movers! The represent themselves fraudulently. The are actually a broker that sells your move. They take no responsibility and offer no help. CONTACTS THAT I WORKED WITH: GABBY LONDON, PETER LIPTON DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. They consistently use a moving company in NJ call Rapid Relocations. Rapid Relocations employs drivers that will try and shake you down for additional money and make threats. They charge you extra for boxes and packing but do not tell you until everything is on the truck and threaten to hold your belongings. They do not pay for any damage. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY.

   Do Not Trust Anyone at This Company.

   I gave the salesman my budget and somehow he managed to meet it to get the business. Now I know how! He deducted a number of items from the inventory list and did not report them to bring down the weight. So my cost went from $1900+ to $3800..even with the overweight guarantee. They didn't tell me the increase until it was time to deliver..now they are holding my stuff hostage. I have a 19 yr. old and a 2 yr. old..not a good scenario. I moved from MN to AZ..and I wish I would have used a different company. They are terrible at getting back to you, giving you any useful information, and are dishonest. I will be contacting a lawyer. I have already contacted ABC Investigative News, and hope to make their awful actions known to as many as I can.

   Firstly, this is a broker-not a moving company. When I signed the paperwork and Todd made his call he stated that he would be my rep for the duration of my move and to reach out to him with any questions or concerns-although it seems as soon as I signed the paperwork he went on vacation and have been nowhere to be found. I have moved four times in four years. This has been by far the worst experience. I received an initial quote for 2300 on a one bed one bath apt.. I did forget two coolers and a rug and paid the initial deposit taking it to $2700. I had a requested move date of Thursday the 9th or Friday the 10th. The movers called and asked if they could pick up early-on the 8th. I granted that. The moving company came-packed up all my belongings and put them on the truck then came in and told me it would be an additional $800 and a $150 “bulky fee.” I have since contacted the DOT and the BBB and was told this was illegal. I was supposed to received a revised estimate upon arrival before anything was packed up or loaded. With that additional $800 that I am disputing with the BBB and DOT-I could have rented a uhaul and done this all myself AND gotten my things that I still don’t even know where are. Today is the 19th and I have still not only not received my belongings but cannot get a date on when they will arrive. I was told “there was no room on the truck.” You said on the phone it can take up to 14 days BUT I would be getting them the following week. That too, was not true. Now nobody is returning emails or phone calls. I cannot get a response on where my things or or an ETA two weeks after they picked it up. Do yourself a favor and choose anyone else other than J&J.

    Terrible Company.

    DO NOT AND I MEAN DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They are a broker and will not let you know until after you have already paid a deposit. My move was an absolute nightmare! They set me up with a shady company called American Eagle Moving & Storage and I didn’t know until the day of the move. This so called business has no work ethics, integrity, customer service, and no sympathy whatsoever for what they have done! They called me the day before my move and raised my weight by 300 lbs and charged me an extra $400! Needless to say my items came back 564 lbs UNDERWEIGHT! They say you will get your money back for the difference which they only gave me the .55 per pound, but they won’t give you back all the binding fees that they add in there! They tried to then give me the price they first quoted me but that was still for a weight that was much more than what my stuff actually weighed! A lot of my items got broken and damaged! All the good reviews have to be fake or friends of the company! I will be getting a lawyer for what has happened to me. I am going to social media! News outlets! Anything to let people know not to use this company! J & J Moore has screwed over the wrong customer! HEED MY WARNING DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY THEY ARE SCAMMERS! THEY WILL BAIT AND SWITCH YOU, AND SET YOU UP WITH A COMPANY THAT ARE SCAMMERS TOO! I will be writing a review about American Eagle moving as well!!
