   RIPPED OFF

   I gave them a check for $700.00. I worked with them for 4 months coordinating my life. I told them I was flying in and out and had to have a definitive date I could depend on. Over and over I asked to ensure there would be no issues. I was not given any contact information to call the movers. The office is closed over the weekend with no emergency contact number. I was left stranded no phone no movers showed up. No it wasn't the weather. I got no call to make sure everything went well. I tried to call first thing the Monday after and no answer. I sent an email, no answer. I tried Monday afternoon and got through. Was told they would call me right back. I got no call. I called again on Tuesday and Nicole started with an attitude. Was told they have not heard back from their movers. And when I asked about who was going to reimburse me for 2 days of work $500 for airline tickets, 3 nights in a hotel and a rental car. Not to mention my $700 deposit, I was told they never guaranteed the dates they were only tentative dates. Now, I had asked at least 10 times over 4 months about the dates being locked in and was told yes every time. Now, I am out $1700 and my belongings have still not been picked up and Moving Central inc will not call me. They tell me that because I could not make arrangements to fly back 5 days later the contract is voided. I am out over $2500.00 and because I paid by check I cannot have my credit card company reimburse me for services not received.

   American National Moving

   DOT #3476043 mc#1139286 (from their website). I mistakenly used this company, not realizing it was a broker. They put me with another "mover", that attempted to steal 1/2 of our goods, we just recovered them 5 weeks later in the state we moved from. Company is a broker, they do not care who moves you, nor do they care if they are crooks. So long as they have a DOT, they are "GOOD". Stay away!

   I put $4,500 down for a deposit and like many others, the driver never showed. The company never answered my calls, they were all nice when they took my money and than forced us to pay extra via wire and threatened they wouldn't show if I didn't, well I paid and they still didn't show. DO NOT use this company. They have several names, mine was American National MOvers - Tom Thunder

   Dishonest and Misleading

   American National Moving/ Moving Central LLC On 8/19/20 I spoke with Brian Akron, Moving Consultant. I provided him with an inventory list that I had used in my previous move. That inventory list contained approx. 6200 LBS. He originally quoted me a price of approx. $6600 which I told him was out of my budget and that I was continuing to get other quotes from additional movers. He asked what my price point was and I told him $4000. He then asked if he could get the estimate down to $4000 if I would use them. I agreed. I also asked him if American National Moving was a broker and he said that they would be handling the move personally. It would’t be passed on to another company. After discussing in detail my move I signed a contract and provided a deposit of $784. On 8/26 I was contacted by David Smith to set up a call with their operations person to go over the details of my move. I was told Jonah would be contacting met at 12 pm MST. No one called and then at 12:52 MST Jonah tried calling me. We finally connected at 1:19 pm MST. Jonah instructed me to review the top portion of my contract which showed I would be using approx. 730 cu ft. In parentheses next to this was a weight of 4300 LBS. Almost 2000 LBS difference between my inventory list. I started to question this and Jonah became frustrated and condescending asking me why I was even bringing it up. I was trying to explain my concern in the difference in LBS and likely needing additional cubic feet and it costing more than originally quoted. He started telling me to be quiet and listen and not interrupt. He was extremely rude, unprofessional and threatening. I have never been treated so poorly by a business in my life. After I was allowed to speak I informed Jonah that 730 cu ft. would not be enough he said it would likely cost me double. I was so disgusted by the conversation that I decided to cancel my move. Upon calling customer service to cancel my move I spoke with a representative who wanted to me to talk with the QA manager. I then talked to David Smith to whom I explained the situation. He asked if he could go over everything with me to keep the business and I agreed to give him the opportunity. We agreed to speak on Saturday 8/28 at 12 pm MST. David did not call. I called him 3 times between 12-1:20 pm MST when David informed me had an emergency. We then agreed to talk on Monday. David did not out and I had to track him down again. At this point I was extremely disgusted and disappointed with the unprofessionalism and lack of client service by the company that I no longer trusted them to move my household. Upon finally connecting with David I explained the trust had been broken and I did not want to move forward with my move. I asked that an exception be made to refund my deposit as I believe the circumstances warranted an exception. He said he would have to talk to the owner of the company. I then contacted the finance department and explained the situation. She agreed that there was a large discrepancy between the original estimate and the amount of space I would likely need. She would still not refund my deposit. I tried to give them the opportunity to make it right but they declined. Therefore this is my old option to get my money back. The $784 means a lot more to me than it does them and I feel that I gave them the opportunity to right any wrongs and advanced notice of my cancellation that a refund will not cause them the financial strain it will me to lose $784.

   No one showed up

   We hired this company(AmericanNational Moving/MovingCentralLLC) to move our stuff. They required us to put money of $3000 to initially pay for the downpayment. We agreed on a date of pickup. On the date of pickup, no one showed in our address to pick our stuff and no one called us to reschedule a missed pickup. We tried to no avail to talk to this people but they refuse to speak. They clearly made a delinquent promises of a written agreement. They refuse to reimburse the &3000 down. They say the money is non refundable. They clearly made the mistake but won’t admit to their wrongdoing. Hopefully this will warn other people to avoid this company.

   Only company worse is the company they hired to move me!!!

   First off, this company is a broker so you are literally paying them to pay an actual moving company to move you. Whether they are using the name "Moving Central LLC" or "American National Movers," it is the same company and same waste of money. This company will underbid to get you to sign with them and put a deposit down. Then they will hire ANY company to come move you. They hired a company with a F rating on the BBB and 36 complaints against them on the https://ai.fmcsa.dot.gov/ which is right around the same amount of complaints this company has. If you turn away the company they hire, you lose your deposit. If they do move you, they will jack up the bid. My bid from American/Moving Central was around $4900, final cost was over $15,000 with a $2000 "discount." I have heard from the company they hired 1 time in the last month and that was about wanting me to send more money. If you call American National, they will say "we will send them an email and you will hear back from us by COB today." That will be a lie. THEY WILL NOT CALL YOU and they will take NO responsibility for hiring a garbage company to move you. Thank god, there was Federal Property in my move and I was able to open federal investigation into where these goods are.

   Inconsistent scam company

   They claim to help coordinate moves within a given time frame. They have no trucks of there own and inconsistent contacts. I paid for the move and paid a second fee for the adjusted estimate in order to facilitate a smooth move. Ultimately, they did not schedule a move for me or repay my funds. Do not use.

   Absolute Trash!!

   Their customer service is the worst! they don't respond to phone/text or email, they steal your money and adjust the move/contract whenever they see fit. They LIED, they CHEATED and STOLE money from me, and won't even return my call. I'm supposed to move in 2 days and they won't even confirm when the movers are coming! I am so beyond livid with this company and the assholes who have "helped me". All they have done is taken advantage of me and mislead me. They promised a dedicated truck, they promised me low rates, only to increase the rate by another $2000 on their "quality insurance call". Do not EVER use this company!! This is will be the worst and most stressful situation you can every put yourself in if you choose to move with them.

    They lied cheated and scammed us out of 2K never showed up to pick up and load our stuff when they said they would and never called to let us know they were not coming. I had to go rent a moving truck and hire street people to help us load because I had recent back surgery and can't lift heavy objects so couldn't load it myself. They also threatened my daughters life if I did not stop asking for a refund.
