   Long Distance move from Washington to Kentucky

   Moving Central AKA American National Moving is a scam of the worst kind. BEWARE before using them. We scheduled a move, paid our deposit, and they continually no showed. We attempted to work with them to reschedule time and time again. Got nothing but run around. Now they won't return our calls or e-mails. We have filed complaints with every government and private agency we can think of. After we had to make different arrangements, we asked for our deposit back, which they refused. I should have read the other reviews (or more like complaints) and then maybe they wouldn't have been able to steal almost $5,000 from me. Please learn from my hard lesson and don't trust this company. Complete crooks and scam artists.

   Read the fine print - Bait and Switch

   We had scheduled a move months in advance from Texas to Missouri for a 1 bedroom apartment. We were told the move would be about $2000. They didn't tell us that we were only given 300 cubic feet, which was about a third of what we had (and I don't know people who are moving less than 300 cubic feet of stuff to fully furnish a new apartment). They then told us we would owe roughly $8000, and refused to give us our deposit back. They left us with 5 days to find a Uhaul truck and do it ourselves. Not helpful in any sense, horrible communication, not up front with anyone. Their whole goal is to get you to pay the deposit and sign the contract, underbid you, then charge you excessive amounts once the move actually happened. You are better off using a Uhaul and hiring loaders and unloaders, save yourself the money and stress! Would give 0 stars if I could!

   Horrendous Company - Please Do Not Use.

   I’m not one to leave reviews, but I urge you to read this. I recently had to cancel my long distance (Tennessee to Oregon) move with Moving Central LLC and forfeit my large deposit due to extremely rude, unprofessional, and disgusting behavior towards me. Jonah from quality assurance called me to complete an inventory checklist to make sure everything regarding the contract is up to date. His attitude towards me was demeaning (he constantly talked down to me and interrupted me- I could barely get a word in), but I continued with the appointment and gave him the benefit of the doubt. However, finally, he gave me an updated quote. After only adding 8 large boxes (and being told that a few of my items like My desk and dresser were “larger than industry standard”) the cost of my move increased by DOUBLE. I consider myself a non-confrontational person, and even with my quiet demeanor Jonah’s attitude was absolutely horrendous (and scary for me as a young woman). He raised his voice at me multiple times, told me I didn’t know what I was talking about, that he bet I’ve “never moved before”, interrupted me, talked to me like I was stupid, and was overall an absolutely horrible employee and “quality assurance” agent. I did not once raise my voice at him, and he continued to berate me. Overall, DO NOT use this company. Not only do they have some shady practices, but Jonah alone was enough to make me question their credibility and made me cancel the move. Jonah should be disgusted with his behavior, and I would rather spend thousands elsewhere than save a little bit of money by using a company that has employees like Jonah.

   Booked a Move for July 5th and moving company contacted me that they would be there by 1, never showed up and told me truck had a flat. Promised to be there by 7 am the next day but never contacted me. Had to do my own moving as repeated calls and emails went unanswered. Would give negative stars if allowed

   Horrible People and Thieves!!

   These people will constantly move the date further and further back and when you finally get tired of their endless excuses and decide to go with someone else, they will REFUSE to give you back your deposit that they previously said was refundable! When you all got your money back due to their gross incompetence, they will COMPLETELY change the story and tell you that it was non-refundable all along (total lie)! If you value your money and your time, you will NOT do business with these liars and thieves!

   Dont do it

   I had a move scheduled from Minnesota to Oregon for 6\29\2021 I was supposed to get a call a few weeks before hand to get a full inventory list, that never happened. I called them to make sure they'd arrive on the scheduled day. I was told yes. Well the day came and went, no one showed up. Anytime I'd call they say "we dont have that information in this department but I'll get it and call you back" they never called me back. Now it's the day after, I'm supposed to get on a plane to Portland and I cant get a hold of anyone at moving central.

   WARNING WARNING WARNING. The slimiest people around

   These people are the worst scammers in the industry. Run, don't walk away. They lie, cheat, and are rude.( that's you Ben and Jonah.) Once they get your deposit - which they hustle like the sleaziest of used car salesmen, just try to get any straight answers. They never tell you that they will broker your job out to the only company that actually has worse reviews than them. When you complain - Ashley says "she's never heard of this thing happening.".....Honestly, I don't know how they can look at themselves in the mirror. Don't want to give even a 1 star. They should be out of business.

    This company has no integrity- paid my deposit, and guess what, no one showed up, and was told I wasn’t due a refund because it’s past my 48 hours. Tom and Ashley- why allow a Company compromise your Integrity. You have the opportunity to do what’s right. Lie for the company - non broker. And turn and take money with no services when clearly noted on contact.
