Worst experience ever
We had a bid in for another company and got a call from this company which bid low. We knew it would cost more because we hadn’t finished packing and our timeline was changed due to the contract on our house we were selling fell through twice. When we actually had a date, the movers charged us 200 more but I understood because we had changed it. What they don’t tell you is that the actual cost is double. They refused to take my husband’s commercial toolbox so we had to rent a UHaul which added another 1,000.00 to the cost. What they don’t warn you is that you need to pack enough items to get you through until they decide to deliver. This is a broker and you have no choice of actual movers. The customer service is horrible- they don’t return calls or emails- I have to constantly call them. We moved into our home on August 27th and it is now 2 months later. The moving company has been to Florida several times in that time period but our move has not been delivered nor do we have an estimate of when it will be. I cannot order my items to be picked up and shipped from another mover because we have no idea where our stuff is. We have been told to contact the mover directly but they don’t answer my calls either and I feel if I have given (QME) them money as a broker, this should be their job. You don’t get the actual contract to review until your items are loaded and when we complained, we were told that we would still have to pay the moving company to load and unload our items along with trying to find a moving company the same day. Quality Moving Experts does not allow for us to speak with the owner (he is a silent owner) and Spartan Moving does not return my calls. I have been told 3 times that my items should be delivered within a week and 3 times they have apologized and said my items were not picked up. They are not forthcoming and do not communicate. We are now well over the 30 business days, and I have no idea the condition of my items. I have complained to BBB, Dept of Transportation and have placed a complaint with the Attorney General and have been told that there are multiple complaints with both Quality Moving Experts and with Spartan Moving. They should not be able to continue poor business practices until they resolve the issues at hand.
Response from Quality Moving Experts
First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services. We are a licensed and bonded interstate broker with the Department of Transportation (DOT) and that is listed in our binding estimate and on our website. We partner with carriers across the United States that are also licensed and insured to facilitate your move. Carriers are truck drivers, and they depend on brokers to help with the advertising, marketing, booking, and customer service. I have reviewed your file and talked with the carrier directly, and yes we agree that your delivery window is unacceptable. We have taken additional measures to ensure that doesn’t happen again to another one of our clients. And we appreciate the feedback you have provided us. I know that is still not sufficient enough, however with the current situation that is happening all across this country has put many carriers against the wall with deliveries. Most of the trucks coming out of California that are performing the deliveries are fully loaded, and not able to pick up in other states that are on the same routes. We have been hoping that the trend would slow down at the end of summer, but it is just starting to. And that is not an excuse by any means for making this acceptable. Now based on all the facts of the move you were picked up on July 22, 2021 and after pick up your belongings were then taken back to the hub and stored per your request. On August 17, 2021 you provided customer service with your new address for delivery and a first available delivery date (FADD) of August 27, 2021. An FADD means that the carrier can not deliver before that date, and sometimes in the busier months it may pose a delay from that date. Per our estimate each carrier has a tariff of the amount of time they have to deliver before they have to start compensating for the delay. This carrier has 30 business days from the FADD to deliver without offering compensation. Your 30th business day was October 8,2021. That means that after 10/8/21 the carrier is supposed to compensate you $30 per business day after that day till delivery is satisfied. I understand that he will be mailing that check to you directly, so that you retain the correct amount in case there are any delays in transit. You had emailed your representative on 6/9 to change your dates and she then sent it back to customer service to reach out to you and make the changes. Our customer service team reached out and left you a voicemail message to contact us back to make those changes. When you called back your dates were changed and your verification was completed as well.On 6/29 you reached out to change your dates again, however we couldn’t make contact with you for 6 days to get those adjusted. We did make contact with your husband but he directed us to you. On 7/6 after an email and many calls to speak with you, we received a phone call from you and proceeded with the date change. Then on 7/14 you requested to change your dates again and we made contact with you on the 7/15 to make those changes, however at that time a date change fee was added on in the amount of $200. That was the third time you had changed your dates. Our customer service department is concerned they have been in constant contact with you directly and through email, and they have gone above and beyond to help you through this process. But to say they are horrible because they don’t provide you with the answers you want is uncalled for. They can only provide you the update that they have available to them from the carrier. But calling into them everyday is not going to change the update received the previous day. Now for the tool box they did not have the capability to transport and move a 2500lb commercial toolbox which is also considered freight, and not household goods. And based on your file that was not disclosed till 7/16/21. Then we couldn’t make contact with your husband till 7/20/21 by text message, and said that he couldn’t speak till the next day. All final estimates and job acceptance forms have to be provided to the carrier 2 days in advance, or all revisions are done onsite. We would like to come to a happy medium to resolve this situation with you, but that would mean not yelling and cursing at our customer service team. I understand that our customer service manager spoke with you today, and sent you an email today about additional compensation after you hung up on her. Let’s please come to a happy resolution. Sincerely Quality Moving Experts

SCAM, INCOMPETENT Never delivered items, won’t return deposit
This company is a SCAM. In January Quality Moving Experts sent a moving company (Evergreen) that tried to upsell me and when I refused they left and did not come back - literally left me at my storage facility with fifty boxes. The second company (MissionTransportation) they sent the following week did not have any intention of delivering my items (though QME repeatedly told me my items had been packed on a truck awaiting delivery). For months I kept on Quality Moving Scammers and they kept assuring me my items were on the way. After FOUR months and no delivery I located my goods in a warehouse in San Diego and hired another company to get them to Wisconsin. When my shipment arrived I found out someone had stolen my golf clubs (not fancy but they’re important to me). I have the photos and inventory with the clubs on them. They’ve not yet replaced my clubs. Thankfully the subcontractor gave me a refund of my deposit and an apology for not delivering my belongings. Unfortunately: After all the headaches and delays QME won’t do the same. QME is refusing to give me my deposit of $1034 back unless I sign a settlement agreement holding them harmless. I’m not sure they’re even a moving company. THEY ARE A SCAM. Avoid this company at all costs.

They don't know where our household goods are
This is a horrible company. They contracted to deliver our belongings within 30 business days. Today is the 33rd business day and still no delivery. Which means we have been without our belongings for 49 days. They have no idea where our belongings are. Now they want me to sign a settlement and general release document! DON'T use this company unless you enjoy losing all your possessions.

Beware of these scammers!!
Not sure how anyone has rated this company well. They completely took advantage of me every step of the way. The only time I’ve been able to be in contact with them is when they wanted money. I wanted to make sure that I posted about my terrible experience with Quality Moving Experts so that I can save someone for making the same mistake that I did. I had signed up on a website for estimates for moving from TN to FL, and they reached out to me to offer their services. The lady I spoke with was extremely pushy, and they acted as if they were doing me a huge favor. I was suckered into their promises, and my initial quote for moving was about $2000. I went through all of the belongings I would be moving, measured them to get an accurate inventory, and once I submitted that, my quote had jumped to over $4000. This new quote was given to me three days before I was moving, which was l not enough time to find another company, so they knew they had me over a barrel. When the movers showed up, it was a company called InstaMovers out of Alabama. They told me the brokerage company (Quality Moving Experts) had way under-quoted me for the cost per cubic feet, and by the end of the day when my belongings were loaded, my new total had grown to over $6000. The movers also told me that the brokerage company does this regularly, and they were very used to having to significantly increase charges upon arrival. I was told when signing up with Quality Moving that I could give them one week notice for when I was ready to have my belongings delivered; I found that this was not the case either. InstaMovers told me they could not give a window of time of when they could deliver my things. They said they would let me know when my stuff could be loaded on the truck from their warehouse. I emailed and called them several times to find out more information, and the best I got was that they would give me a 24-hr deliver window after the undetermined time it took to get my belongings loaded to the truck. I received a call two weeks later on a Sunday night stating that the movers would arrive with my belongings at 7 or 8 AM the following morning. I told the guy I spoke with that I would not have a way to get the remaining amount of money I owed- which they wanted in cash- by that time Monday morning and he said they could not unload the truck it until they had cash in hand. I had just driven from Tennessee to Florida and did not want to carry that amount of cash on me. The moving truck arrived at 8 AM and sat on the street outside of my home until 9 AM without any communication. At 9 AM the driver came to the door and demanded his money so they could begin unloading. I had to leave my home to go get the money after waiting on them an hour to come to my door, so they charge me an extra $200. Then they charged me an $175 because they said they “could not” pull into my driveway with the truck, although there was plenty of room as my driveway makes a U through our front yard. Then they charged me an additional $250 for a “bulk carry fee” for a large buffet table I had. And because I wasn’t able to get cash with the less than 24 hours notice I was provided, they charge me $275 to put my remaining balance on a credit card. At the end of the transaction, the moving ended up costing me over $8000. The movers did not deliver on there promise to set my furniture back up properly. They left my dining room table in pieces, my couch in pieces thrown on top of one another, my mattress is still wrapped in plastic with the beds disassembled, and too many items to name that were completely broken. They dropped my grill in the backyard and dented it, and my workout bench was missing a foot so it is no longer usable. I was told to contact the moving company and they would replace it, but at this point I have reached out through phone calls, leaving voicemails, and sending multiple emails with no response from Quality Moving Experts or Precise Moving. They have made zero effort to make anything right or replace any of my broken items. Please take my long story and horrible experience as a warning to avoid Quality Moving Experts and Precise Moving and Storage LLC at all costs! I have never been treated this horribly was customer service in my life, and I’m out $8000.
Response from Quality Moving Experts
First, we would like to apologize for any inconvenience that the customer may have experienced. It is never our intention for our customers to be less than satisfied with our services. Your original booking for move was on 9/4/20 with your representative and you were happy with all the services we provided, including the additional breakdown that you requested after your move was secured. Your representative also walked you through the whole binding estimate and went over every detail about what factors may come into play during your pick up and delivery such as Long carry, stairs, shuttle truck, and packing of delicate items. The pick up you requested was set for 9/14-9/16 with an estimated 491 cubic feet based on the inventory that you provided us. On the 9/10/20 before your quality assurance (QA) call you informed us that the closing of the house fell through. Normally there are date change fees if you need to change your dates within 5 business days of your first available pick up day (FADD), but we understood that it was out of your control. So we worked with you to place the move on hold with no additional cost to help you through the difficult time you were experiencing. On 9/29/20 you had informed us that the house did in fact have a new closing date of 10/14/20, at that time we re-activated your move and set a new pick up window for 10/11-10/13 which you were happy with to ensure everything was out of the house before the closing on the 14th. We then started the process again and set up a new QA for your move to ensure that nothing has changed with your inventory. At that time you did add additional items to your inventory that we already had listed, and your cubic space reservation went from 491cf to 619cf of space needed based on the items that you told us needed to be moved. Again, we can only account for what needs to be loaded based on the list of items that you provide us. Please keep in mind that anything and everything that takes up space on the truck needs to be accounted for regardless of the significant size it is. Then on 10/10 our customer service team reached out to you and provided you with pick up information for your move of 10/13/20 9am-3pm both verbally and in email form with additional information should you have any issues with additional charges or additional items that may not be accounted for. However you did not reach out to us at the time of pick up or after pick up. After that call we did not hear anything from you and knew you had 30 days of storage listed on your estimate. If there was a problem at pick up we inform all our clients to reach out to us directly regardless of the time it is so that we may assist on your behalf to ensure all the paperwork is complete, and you understand what the additional charges if any would be. That is what you hire us for, to be your liaison. On 11/13/20 the carrier sent over the paperwork for your move and informed us that everything had been loaded and was in transit to your new location for delivery. The carrier couldn’t make contact with you and asked for our assistance in the matter. Customer service reached out to you and made contact to update you with that information. After delivery of your belongings we still did not hear anything from you, till you began posting reviews from your experience, and not giving us the opportunity to work with you to resolve the situation first. How is that fair to not allow us to do our job and assist you with all the matters you said you had? As soon as we were made aware of the situations we were able to start the process, such as providing you with claims information, go back over your paperwork where we did find out that you added additional items to your inventory list which added to the cost of your move. Again we do apologize for the bad experience you had, but again you didn’t use us to your advantage to help you through the process. And this is definitely one of those situations that would have turned out differently if you had simply called us during pick up, and delivery. We provide ALL clients with two forms of contact at booking, during verification, and pick up, all are made verbally and in email form as well. Sincerely Quality Moving Experts

Do Not Use This Company!! They Are Scammers.
Their manager literally was screaming at my wife on the phone. They scammed us out of $1500! We attempted to use their service for a cross country move. Our situation was also different as we are already out of state and our items are in a storage facility that does not allow vendors onsite to pick up but rather they deliver it to any location within a 100 miles. They told us it would be no problem at all. That they take care of moves like this all the time. However, when I asked for an address to have our storage facility deliver our items, they told us they would need to check with their moving company, yes they outsource their moves. I was told I would have an address the day before our move. I expressed concern about the time frame but they assured us they could get it to us. The day before comes and a representative calls us to resign our contract with wrapping fees for the moving company. I ask about the address I was supposed to get and he had no idea about it. So he says he will look into it and get back with us.Later that evening having still not heard from them , we call them multiple times until someone finally answers at 6:30 pm. They tell us the mover they aligned us with, no longer has space and that they will try another day or facility to move our stuff. We wanted to cancel as they cost us almost $350 from our storage facility to have our stuff put back and another month to store it. We called the next day about a refund and their customer service rep was defensive saying they had until that day to find another mover to move our items. We tell them we just want to cancel and receive our deposit back. She tells us we do not qualify as they have that day still. So we hang up frustrated and feeling defeated, and a manager calls us about an hour later and tells us he has another company who would be perfect for our move. We reluctantly agreed as we just want our stuff, so we called the new mover. They told us, he would need to check with his driver on days and call us back. They didn't call us for about a week, so we called back, left voicemails and finally we got through to them. They now have their only truck this month moving on a day that is too close for our storage facility to deliver our items to them. We asked when the next day they can move our items would be and they couldn't give us a day. Without a day, moving forward we just wanted our money back. So we called the manager of Quality moving experts back and he was extremely rude. He began talking over my wife and I, and started screaming at us that we needed to email them that we want to cancel our move but that we were disqualified from a refund. The manager literally told us that we do not qualify for a refund because we are canceling, even though we were trying to cancel because they cannot seem to facilitate our move or just give us an accurate day in which they have a truck coming to Florida. They say they can give us a day, but its not guaranteed to be THAT exact day. Makes no sense. Every time they cancel the move on the date they give us, we have to pay a restocking fee at our storage. Its an endless cycle. I just wanted my deposit back. We were understanding and patient this whole time. But this was the last straw. We even repeatedly asked the manager screaming at us to please stop and listen, just as we listened to them explain what they wanted to. He refused. Please don't use this company. They build their contract to sound good, but use it to scam you.

Middle Man, no Need For Them!
THIS IS A BROKER, NOT AN ACTUAL MOVING COMPANY! Beware! There is NO NEED for this company in your move! I thought this company was the actual company moving our stuff, but nope. They charged us $1500 basically just to do what I could do in a Google search and they booked us with American Home Movers, who are the actual movers and have been great so far (we’ve just had them pick up our stuff so far). American Home Movers also told us that Quality Moving Experts overestimated our square footage and overcharged us. I wish I had known Quality Moving Experts was a middle man that I could cut out and that I could book directly with a mover like American Home Movers. VERY UPSET!

Lied, broke furniture, drunk, 2 weeks later no furniture.
PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! They contracted our move to another company and did not tell us until after everything started to go wrong They quoted 3 day transit, 2 weeks later no furniture. They broke my kids furniture One of the "movers" was drunk with those little bottles of alcohol falling from his pockets. Please read the other reviews to see that these people will take advantage of you. I WISH I COULD SAY WORST THINGS TO CONVEY HOW TERRIBLE THEY ACTUALLY ARE. Price increased throughout move, almost $2k more than quote.
I had to relocate out of state for a new job. I had received several quotes to move my one bedroom,750sqft apartment, but I selected Quality Moving Experts because they offered the lowest price and it seemed like it would be a good fit. I filled out my inventory and was quoted $2291.13. I was told this would include wrapping my furniture, fuel for transportation, and up to 30 days of storage. The day prior to my move, I received another call and after going through my inventory again, we decided to increase my estimated space used on the truck. I was also told at this time that though I had been told my furniture would be wrapped which was included in the original price - I was now going to be charged for mattress covers and coverings for my mirrors. It was a surprise to me but despite this, I payed the difference of the new price, $3402. Upon pick-up, my items were loaded onto the truck, and before the movers left, the price then increased again to $4071 due to "increased space used" and "handling of materials." At this point, all my things were on the truck and I felt taken advantage of because I didn't have a choice at that point to back out. I called customer service, but they said that I would have to call back during the week once they received the paperwork from the movers to find out where the price discrepancy came from. I paid the new total and my items were taken to storage. I called customer service, but my paperwork was not received for a week, and they did not submit copies of the inventory list that could show why the estimate vs the actual price was different. I requested for the inventory list to be reviewed, but after several phone calls of saying that it had been requested, I was finally told I would not be able to review the inventory list until my items were delivered, and that due to the contract I had, I would be responsible for the price. Overall, I felt taken advantage of in this situation. I had read so many reviews of 3+ bedroom homes being moved for cheaper than mine was. There was miscommunication that caused hundreds of dollars of added fees for packing materials and "handing fees" - which one would assume was included in moving items. I think $4k+ to move a 1 bedroom apartment for a single person was unreasonable. Although Quality Moving Experts stated that the moving professionals they used determined the space used and the final price, it is a company that they contract, so there needs to be some liability placed with the large difference in price that they quoted me vs what I actually paid. I was told by Quality Moving Experts that "it would be hard to negotiate my price because I had a signed contract" after my price had increased nearly $2k. It just seem like I was gouged since I had a contract that I had initially signed with a different price, and was pressured to pay the difference as they already had all my belongings. After speaking with several other moving companies, they have advised me that a reliable company will have somebody do a visual inspection before offering an estimate to avoid discrepancies in prices. In addition I was told: "If any company asks for money before the moving day - run. Run away." This company did a verbal inventory, but never did a visual inspection, and I was required to make a deposit before my move could be "booked" - you get a window of time that they are expected to come, not a specific date. It was a hard lesson to learn, but I highly recommend looking elsewhere for anybody looking into using this company for their move.
