   Do not hire this company. I paid them a $200 deposit August 22 to move. I didn’t end up going with them. I had to call them every week and finally got a refund 10/5 once I threatened to sue. Completely unacceptable.

   DISASTER OF A COMPANY! AVOID AT ALL COST!!

   On June 2022 I moved from MA to FL. Unfortunately, I used Roy's Moving (located at 270 Parsons St, Boston, MA 02135) to do the moving. I regret the millisecond that I let these guys lay their rough and none caring hands on any of my belongings. Complete disaster! I cannot describe how many of my items were damaged. My favorite big professional computer workstation desk was basically shattered to pieces. All the drawers that belong to a beautiful black oak dresser were also damaged and broken. Heavy duty boxes that I’ve put together - so many were damaged, pancaked and squashed with holes all over them and many were open and the content was spilled all over! I can go on and on and on… endless nightmare. Once the semitrailer parked at the house in FL and they open that truck’s doors I swear I got pale and light cold sweat ran all over my body. I knew this won’t be good! If you saw the way the items were thrown in that truck you would not believe it. Horrendous pile of everything, from electronics, computers, glass, furniture and everything in between. Huge ugly mess! It looked like it was picked up by a tractor and was dumped right into a garbage truck!!! Nothing less than that. Animals! Shame on you!! What makes me sad the most is that I spent almost two months packing everything carefully and placing big warning labels on EVERY SINGLE box so they’ll know to be careful and handle them with care. Well, they simply didn’t! Moreover, we were not told by the company that the movers will not be English speaking and might not be able to read warning labels in English. When they came to pick up the moving items in MA I personally stood there and asked them to handle the boxes with care and not drop them. The manager who came with the movers spoke some English and promised me they will handle the boxes with care, as did the representative from the company a few times over the phone. She assured us and said absolutely not to worry. In practice… wow, they didn’t give a s…t!! One more thing: the initial estimate which they gave us was $5840.53, but on moving day it almost doubled to $11,408.10 (before tips to five movers in MA and four in FL)! Why? Well, they repackaged almost everything in bigger boxes and of course charged for that, calming we had 503 extra cubic feet. I don’t know... you’re charging $5,567.57 for an extra 503 cubic feet, repackage lots of it and still manage to break so many items?? Sounds like total BS! From reading so many other reviews of Roy's Moving company it is obvious that there is a pattern here. First they entice you with a low moving quote, then on move day the price changes dramatically (in our case almost doubled from $5840.53 to $11,408.10) due to repackaging charges which increase the cubic feet (503 extra cubic feet in our case) even if great attention was given to packaging by the client. Then, after the moving left you with a hole is your pocket and an even bigger hole in your heart with your shattered belongings, you will have to go through a lengthy claim process with their affiliate company CSI (which took 5 months in our case) only to be offered a ridicules compassion ($324.10 in our case for a damage of thousands of dollars). Next if you ask Roy's Moving to take responsibility for the damage they have caused hey will disregard it. We ended up paying over $12,000 for this disaster (including tips), before the cost of replacing and fixing everything that was broken. This company simply came, took and broke my stuff - pure and simple! And on top of that they damaged the new flooring in my house, and one item which I bought just before moving – a new $140 floor lamp in its original box - never made it to my new place... lost or stolen, who knows. November 2022 update – Up until today we discover more and more valuable items like computers, expensive musical equipment and instruments etc. that were damaged during the move and are currently in and out of repair for hundreds of dollars. These items worked perfectly before the moving. After many months of waiting for the claim that we filed through CSI we finally received the most ridicules compensation offer you can even imagine, simply a joke!! But this is how they do it. They ask you to file a claim, wait for months and then offer you peanuts. We have contacted the company recently and ask for a suitable compensation to be able to replace and repair the items that were damaged. We also mention that if they dismiss our request and will not provide help in this case we will be forced to take legal action. We are now proceeding with legal action against this company. We're attaching here just few photos of the items that were completely damaged and the conditioned of the boxes that were delivered to us. AVOID Roy's Moving LIKE THE PLAGUE!!! This company should be out of business.

   WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE

   DO NOT USE THIS MOVING COMPANY. Roy's Moving Company. come to my house pickup stuff moving from Lowell, MA to Lavon Texas, when deliver to my new address , 04 boxes was missing ,the driver/delivery guy told me to call the company to report the missing because he's only delivery .. I call Roy's company , every many times and everyone keep telling me to call Morma , she always not available , until one day got lucky get ahold of her , she ask me to contact her by email at tnorma@roysmoving.com , she got email but never update or responded to me whatsoever I keep reply email to her and asking what's going on but she never reply to me ,,, the moving cost around $4750 but they don't responsible for the lost !!!This thing been going on more than a month already !!! This is very bad moving company , so everyone beware of them !!!

   WORST MOVING EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE.

   DO NOT USE. RIPPED OFF AND LOST ITEMS. I could not have had a worse experience with Roy's Moving Company. I would not wish my worst enemy to use this company. I WAS RIPPED OFF THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS. The delivery timeline was several weeks late and the run-around that I got when talking with their customer service was the most disrespectful kind of service I have ever received from a company. They lost family heirlooms, broke my box spring and bookshelf. AND almost all of my kitchen appliances. We were ripped off. Couldn't be more heartbroken and angry.

   Movers

   I had a great experience with them the first time. So I hired them again and was vey upset the movers they sent were very unprofessional. They showed up with a smaller truck left half of my furniture at my old place. I ah to turn around and rent a uhaul . I show up at the old place and half of my belongings were missing. I called Roy’s moving to share my experience after spending 1300$ on movers and tipping the movers only to get no where beside do a claim which they offered me under a$100 . My stuff was worth way more than that I did not get what I paid for. Horrible experience I would not use Roy’s again.

   The movers had picked up my stuff the week before Thanksgiving for a move out from Boston to Colorado. They had said it could take up to 21 business days to get get my stuff out to Colorado. In the contract in fine print they had stated that they had 21 business days after the first available move in date which for me the first. My stuff was not delivered until January 6th. They charged me for a fee for stairs which the subcontractors had also charged me. The apartment which I was moving out of was a ground level apartment so the I should only have been billed for the stairs once.

   Below average service and increased costs

   Initially I was told everything is included and once they showed up they charged me 1.5X times more than that. They did not take all the boxes agreed upon and also after delivering they lost parts which resulted in malfunctioned bed frame and lamp stands. I am calling them everyday to get refund and it’s been 3 weeks yet they are just pushing it everyday Please do not use this mover ever

   Terrible Service

   If you’re moving anytime soon DO NOT hire Roy’s Moving. ??‍♀️ They picked up my belongings in Massachusetts on May 30th and promised delivery to Florida within 2-10 days. It’s now going on day 18 and my items have still not arrived. Every time I speak to someone in the office they tell me my things will be coming “by the end of the week”. This has been going on for nearly 3 weeks now. At one point I was told my things were on there way, only to be told later in the week that my things are still in Massachusetts. It’s an absolute joke of a business. I guess time will tell if my furniture and everything I own ever show up. ??‍♀️ Also, getting a manager on the phone is impossible and the women in the office have lied to me during every single interaction I’ve had with them (which has been a lot). Do yourself a favor and hire any other company. I wish I had read the reviews before trusting these people with my belongings.

   Take your money and run!! Highly unprofessional!

   Highly highly unethical , unprofessional staff. They will pack stuff well to take their sweet time to hand you a big Bill at the end but won’t give your valuables in good shape after you pay them. So take your money and run, do not hire them!! We hired this company to help us with moving our homes and storing our stuff between moves for 10 days. While their packers were very nice, they staff, their insurance and their way to handle your valuables in extremely unprofessional! They broke our big screen TVs, lost my kids sports gears box and a box filled with all their nice clothing, and broke new artisan dining chair which we never received as they kept it in their warehouse . I have pics of that battered chair . Those accent chair were bought as a pair, having that one chair missing rendered the other one unusable. After 7 months of follow up and60-70 calls, we finally got a call back from them in Feb 2021 . Their manager ‘Owen’ finally called us 7 months after we had moved , and offered us $250 and a used TV , when I refused to take the used TV , I was offered my battered chair which now looked as it was left on streets for someone to take it for free and no takers. Upon me asking for a monetary compensation for missing things , broken goods and lost valuables ,he became hostile and communicated in a very unprofessional manner .. using bad language. I would never recommend this company to anyone I know! Highly unprofessional!

    Lost my Things.

    Worse experience ever. At first they were absolutely great and polite. During pickup they tried to charge me more even though I had agreed on the size of my move beforehand. I will give it to them, this issue was resolved fast. However, upon delivery they were an absolute mess. At first they told me my move would arrive on a Tuesday. When I called to confirm they said it would take another week. However, on Wednesday of that week I get a call saying that my stuff was on the way. Complete disorganization from them. When my things arrived some boxes were completely destroyed. I understand there's wear and tear during a move, however, the condition in which they were in showed how they really didn't care about anything. I had some lamps wrapped in bubble wrap and noticed how someone put out their cigarettes on it. Again, disrespectful. My stuff arrived and I had four items missing. It's been three weeks and I still don't know where it is. I call multiple times a day, send emails and they are very disorganized. Everyone tells me something different - some say they have found it my things, others say they are still looking for it. Moral of the story, I have no idea where my things are and have been trying to communicate with them with zero luck - there's absolutely no proper guidance of what is happening. I would not recommend. .
