   DISGUSTING ABUSIVE COMPANY

   DO NOT USE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ABUSED AND THREATENED BY THIS COMPANY!! 5 men from this company were used to move house for me. They were disgusting, threatened me and made me scared in my own home. They have broken and damaged many of my belongings and I am missing a whole wardrobe full of clothes - so I can only assume stolen by them. The company don’t care, they are even asking me for more money as they made a mistake when invoicing me! On the moving day I called them and said that their employees were abusive and making me scared I my own home. They didn’t care and did nothing to sort out. I ended up moving my furniture and ever single box packed on my own as they had no clue what they were doing. Utterly disgusting and abusive people!!!

   Avoid if you value your new home

   Taha Removals completed a move for us at the end of October. They were poorly equipped to perform the service. Insufficient number of boxes, insufficient space in the vans (resulting in us having to ask relatives to help last minute), and insufficient protection to carpets, etc. We have several marks and stains, which were left by the workers and despite the workers confirming that they had caused them (the property is brand new and pristine), the company refuses to make the repairs. The front of house promises everything but the people carrying out the work are just careless. Avoid if you value your new home.

   A Disgrace.

   My house was being demolished and so I was able to take things not usually associated with a house move, such as kitchen and bathroom. This was all to be stored in my new house alongside the normal contents. To make the move easier I decided to do it in stages and booked 2 men for 4 hours (and their Luton van) from Taha for the first stage, which involved only the moving of furniture (beds, 1 wardrobe, 2 sofas, chairs etc) totalling 1 Luton van load. The new house is approx 10 minutes drive away so I was hoping we would get at least 2 loads done in the 4 hours I had booked them for. They were so slow, however, that the first load took about 2 3/4 hours after which they asked if they could call it a day as there was no time left for a second load. I did of course pay for the full 4 hours. The second stage - a few days later - was then to be the bulky kitchen cupboards as well as the bathrooms. I had been advised by them that I should book 3 men for 4 hours next time and so I did that. The booking was made for 8 am but the night before the second stage was due to take place I received a text from Mohammed (owner of Taha(?)) that there had been a mix-up and they would come at 1pm instead. I agreed, even though it threw my plans somewhat. At 1pm I waited and when they hadn’t turned up by 1:30 I started calling. He didn’t answer his phone - I tried both the landline and the mobile - and for the next hour or so I kept calling but no answer. So, for whatever reason they decided not to do the job but wouldn’t inform me and have not been in touch since - not to explain nor to apologise. They just left me hanging. Luckily, I found Thames Removals on the Which magazine trusted trader website and Krystian and Peter from Thames Removals were real heroes - slaving away until the job was done, working much faster than the men from Taha and remained in a good mood throughout. Whilst Thames Removals cost slightly more per hour than Taha the men from Thames Removals worked twice as fast (and still very carefully) which ended up costing much less. So, if you need reliable men do avoid Taha - you never know if they turn up!

   House move.

   I accepted a quote. Agreed a date etc. I got an email last thing on a Friday night two weeks before moving date. To say they cannot move me on that day they are too busy could they do it the next day. I am left with two weeks before my move and can’t do anything until after the weekend. I am very disappointed with the way they do business and to think I was going to trust them with moving me. Yours a very frustrated customer.
