   Moving experience

   I was scheduled for a move from Wilmington to the northern suburbs with a local company . They arrived on time , walked in , saw my spiral Staircase , looked frightened, called the office and refused to Move the furniture upstairs. I called the Move Crew, they came right over and got to work with a great attitude and got the job done. I am totally impressed by the whole operation and would recommend to anyone. They all were pleasant, polite and very strong!!!

   I hired Move Crew to move my two offices to a much larger office. I can't say enough about how professional and on point the moving crew were. The crew arrived on time and assured me they could get the job done s quickly as possible. The crew went above and beyond to make sure our items were arranged correctly.    Move Crew Made My Move Day Stress Free.

   I used Move Crew LLC for my move from Wilmington to Bear on May 10. Communication with Sheena prior to the move was great. She answered my questions and was friendly and accommodating to my requests. The quote for the move was lower than the other four companies I called and the Move Crew did a much better job than movers I have used in the past. The amount quoted was the exact amount I was charged. The movers arrived on time and worked carefully wrapping my furniture, including a glass dining room table. They carefully loaded everything onto the truck, arrived at our new home and carefully unloaded it all. They reassembled what they took apart. I have a professional (very heavy) butcher block prep table that had a loose/uneven bottom rack that was too heavy for me to realign. They even fixed that for me and tightened it correctly, which they did not have to do. They wasted no time, they worked together quickly but carefully and were efficient. I highly recommend The Move Crew.

   Fantastic!

   I received an estimate from George within seconds of sending a picture of a large piece of furniture I needed moved within 24 hours. The moment I spoke to him, it was apparent I was speaking to a professional. He picked up the piece the same evening, calling to let me know when he was running a few minutes late, then texting when he was close! He carefully wrapped the piece and he & his helper Isaac were respectful, friendly and professional. I will gladly recommend George & his crew to anyone needing to be moved..he is a professional through & through who obviously takes great pride in a job well done! Cost was very reasonable, but site requires three digits for service cost.

   Move Crew Does It Right.

   We used MoveCrew LLC on March 3rd to move our stuff from two condos into a large single-family home not far away, My initial contact was with Sheena via e-mail and phone. She was very professional, reponded quickly, and gave me a prompt price quote. George and his two-man crew (Isaac and Derrick) arrived on time and went right to work. They did more than I expected them to do and handled our furniture with care. They were courteous at all times. Their price was all-inclusive (including a spinet piano). I would recommend them to family and friends.

   Good crew.

   George and his team arrived promptly as agreed and got right to work.  They carefully wrapped my belongings and worked well as a team packing and loading the truck.  I had a TON of stuff, and the team remained friendly and pleasant even as we crested the 12 hour mark.  We dealt with issues like a refrigerator not fitting into a doorway in a city house, which should have been nerve racking, but the team split up and two of them worked that issue while two others continued unloading the truck.  My mother was present for my move and firmly declared that there was no way my king sized mattress was going to fit up the stairs.. And I'm happily lying on it now as I write this review.  Sheena, the owners wife, checked in throughout the day to ensure things went smoothly.  The Move Crew had a pleasant, efficient team at a fair price.  Thanks for a smooth transaction.

   Cancelled contract due to lack of insurance coverage, and refund issue

   I had the most horrible experience with Movecrew LLC, Delaware. I made a contract with them on April 18 to Move on May 21 from Smyrna DE to a co-op Apartment in Fort Lee, NJ at $3,000. My house broker recommended them to me. I made $800 deposit. I told them that our co-op has a very strict moving schedule and must supply the company Insurance requirements as the co-op required. I told them many times about the importance of the insurance requirement and send them a sample insurance form and let them be connected the Apartment Management office to fill it in correctly. The apartment renovation was not ready for the May 21, so we move the moving date to May 27th. However, Movecrew LLC couldn't supply the insurance form until May 5th. When we got the copy of the insurance, they don't have the proper insurance coverages; has only to cover a driver. I contacted their insurance company by Movecrew's suggestion to asking whether they can add the coverage for our moving things and the movers' insurance even for a short period. Without the movers' insurance (kind of Workman's comp), they can't come into the apartment, they Can't do the moving. The insurance company person told me they can't do that because the company is not qualified to be insured. He didn't mention in detail Why. After this conversation, we agreed to cancel the contract and I had to find a new mover in hurry for May 27th move ! (It was another horror stories with new moving company contracts; many of them are NOT a real mover, lot of them are brokers and asking for an expediter premium because it is a short notice. However, the day of packing, truck company asking $7,000 from $4,200 contract price and told me they are not the contract company! Contract company doesn't own a truck! I refused to pay that ransom money. It took me 3rd try to get a correct company with nice movers but I was half dead to made 3 contracts within 2 days. The 2nd contract was also scam that I didn't realize it. The 3rd company who contacted me same time with 2nd company, told me how to check a real mover vs name only mover.) After we moved, I contacted Movecrew LLC for my refund. They said they will, but after my house broker and I kept calling numerous times, I got $500 only on July 21st. They told my broker that they had some financial problems and will pay the rest soon. When I and my house broker contact them again after weeks later, they didn't answer the phone nor respond at all. Finally, I send them a message on September 7 that if they don't pay me the rest of $300 within 10 days, I will report them to BBB and send it to the collection agency. Then the wife, Sheena, answered the phone and they don't have to pay me because the contract is broken. I told her I didn't break it, but it was broken because of their fault. THEY ARE THE ONE who broke it. As of October 2, they still not answered the phone nor respond. If they have any problems and or ask me a favor, I could be flexible but this type of ignore or no repones cannot be acceptable. Today is October 7, 2025.

   When we scheduled our move with them they said they would wrap the furniture. They did not have enough moving pads or shrink wrap. A number of pieces were damaged and not repaired. The repairs were scheduled three different times but no one showed up to complete the repairs. The last time they communicated with us they texted May 22, would be the new date for repairs. When we tried to confirm this date they stopped answering our calls.

    Our move

    This moving company damaged our furniture that we had for over 17 yrs. Their employees stole from us, insulted my husband and we trusted them with everything we owned. They were careless making marks on our walls in our brand new home. They damaged our refrigerator, dressers, mattress, desk and curio cabinets. They stole from us on top of this. We couldn’t move ourselves due to injuries and surgeries my husband underwent but the employees were saying “it’s always the people that can move themselves that bitch”. We paid thousands of dollars for this move. Then the owner, George, told us “you will receive a check anyday”. That was on 11/18/21. We have never received any check and George blocked my husbands phone number. Please beware of this company. They don’t care about anything and they don’t respect your belongings. I would never use them or suggest to anyone to use this company! I would give zero Rating if it would allow it.
