Best of the Best
Awesome Customer Service. The lady on the phone Alecia was Very Professional and Polite. Movers were also very friendly and they were working fast and efficient. They wrapped all the items to the protective shrink wrap and moving blankets and they moved everything with extra care. We are very happy about the move and pleased with their service . The price was also reasonable. They have discounts for almost any category of people, monthly specials and a Referral Program as well. We are so glad that we decided to go with Torex and we strongly recommend them to everybody!

Good and professional company
I had to move 2 times already and both times I used this company’s service. Movers were really professional , careful and fast, I did not have any damages or issues with them. They arrived at the exact time as we agreed. Moreover, they gave me their discount card which is really great! I will continue using their service as I think it’s one of the best moving companies!

Good moving company
Movers arrived on time, they finished right on the time estimate that was given to me. The price was reasonable for the amount of work the movers did. Overall great service!

Good moving company
I recently used Torex Moving when relocating, and they did a great job. I chose them for their pocket friendly moving cost since I was looking for cheap moving in Toronto. In addition to their price, their services were exceptional, and I will choose them again when moving. They handled everything professionally, from packing, disassembling and assembling some of my items, to moving them into my new home. The mover didn’t leave my new home until they were sure I was satisfied with how they placed the items in my new home.

Great!
Great Service. The movers were nice and friendly and they finished the job earlier than it was estimated. They also dissembled and reassembled my furniture for me too ! I strongly recommend this company to everybody

Horrible and Unprofessional
I DO NOT recommend this company and here are the reasons. Please review facebook reviews as well before you decide to go with this moving company and damage your home, furniture and peace of mind. 1. Overcharge at the end for 30 mins. The company charges in 30 minute slots and even 5 minutes into the slot, you get charged the whole amount. The movers closed the truck after finishing the move at 4:05. They were hanging out in the front yard for 10-15 mins and then left which meant the truck's GPS showed it at our house till 4:20. $90 hit right there. 2. They ask you to sign a contract after to move stating that there is no damage. We could not inspect all our furniture -- Remember we are paying for every minute as you inspect and we have a small baby to watch as well. The damages as shown in the pictures were sent via an email and they washed their hands off saying "You have signed the document". 3. The customer rep Alecia is very rude - we VERY POLITELY asked them to return our hammer that was taken by one of their movers and her email was directly copied and pasted here - "They DID NOT use your Hammer. They have around 3-4 Hammers in their own tool boxes. They NEVER use customer's Tools ". We called her back and asked her to ask one specific mover and they MAGICALLY found our hammer and now we need to go collect the tool instead of them delivering it because they will deliver at at their convenience. 4. They will tell you that they are good as assembling and disassembling furniture, THEY ARE NOT. We have a very common Ikea sectional that their team of movers could not re assemble, they wasted an hour on it, we asked them to leave it as we could just get someone else to do it for us instead of wasting money on them - remember $180 per hour. We hired someone from Task Rabbit who put it back in about 20 mins. 5. After all of these complaints Alecia has the audacity to ask us to recommend them to our friends so 'our friends' can get a discount instead of refunding us for the 30 minutes. The movers were friendly and nice but they are not professional movers and should have taken better care in packing and handling of furniture as well as hardwood floors when assembling furniture. During the move we bought them lunch and drinks without thinking about the time but at the end of this we were let down by the company which DOES NOT CARE at all. Please Beware.
Response from TorEx Moving
1. You were charged only for the time that movers spent on your move. No extras. Yes, we do charge for the travel back time, so as all moving companies doo. Sometimes other movers charge for the time getting to a customer as well. But we charge only for the travel back time. Not for the time driving to you. 2. Yes, that's a regular procedure to ask you to sign the contract at the end of the move after the inspection is done. All complains must addressed during moving, while the moving crew is still working at your house. But not a day later after they already left. Yes, we expect our customers to do the inspection of their belongings, while the movers are still at the destination location - unloading the truck. Unloading furniture to a house usually takes around 2 hours at least and it is more than enough time to inspect all the furniture and to go over all the boxes and details. 3. Nobody was ever rude to you. All of our staff members are very polite and friendly. Movers did Not use your hammer. They tried to find it and at some point they thought that they did, but it turns out that it was not your hammer that they found, but one of our employee's. So we do Not have your hammer. Our movers have plenty of them in their tool boxes and it doesn't make any sense for them to use yours. 4. You told our movers yourself - Not to assemble the Ikea Sectional. They assemble only these units that are being asked by the customer to be assembled. 5. Nobody was ever asking you to recommend us to anybody. After the move is complete, you just received an automatic message about a discount that you or your friends and family will have if they will ever be moving with us again and will use your coupon code. We truly care about our customers and all of our staff members are professionals. But unfortunately, some of the customers are not thankful and instead of appreciating hard work they start threatening us with posting some negative reviews if we are not gonna give them a bigger discount. All the best

THE WORST COMPANY
They deserve 0 stars but Google won't allow that. This is a company YOU NEED TO SERIOUSLY AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY ARE THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! There is a lot I can say about why you need to avoid them but I am going to highlight just some of the main points. 1. They are dishonest with their pricing from when you first call them to what they bill you at the end of the job. 2. They double book the movers so if you end up as they're second move, just know they will be extra tired and going to go extremely slow which you can't really blame them for after they already did a 5 hour move. Not the movers fault, it's the companies. 3. They came 3 hours late on the first date and then had the nerve to charge $92 extra for 20 extra minutes of work. 4. THEY BROKE MY COFFEE TABLE which the movers on the second day sent a picture to [NAME EDIT] and she never compensated for it. She simply ignored it. 5. They charge $168 per hour and advertise in places like Milton then charge you 2 hours $336+ tax for TRAVEL TIME which by the way they never mention to you when you first call them. 6. They don't have any tools (drill, screw driver) anything to disassemble or assemble a bed or to take a tv off the wall mount 7. THEY DON'T LAY OUT ANY CARPET or PLASTIC SHEETS BEFORE WALKING ON THE FLOORS OF YOUR HOUSE. It was a very slushy day and they walked all over the house in muddy steel toe boots ruining the floors. 8. SECOND DAY THEY CAME ON TIME BUT LEFT KEY TO THE POD THAT MY STUFF WAS IN. So that took 30 minutes which they don't compensate you for but God Forbid they take a extra 20 minutes they will definitely charge you for it. THIS COMPANY IS A MASSIVE SCAM. STAY AWAY. SO MANY BETTER OPTIONS. I WILL BE REPORTING THEM TO BBB AS WELL!!
Response from TorEx Moving
1. The client was given the correct pricing during booking. Everything was sent to him in writing and he agreed with all the charges and signed an Estimate. 2. We don't double book the movers. It's normal for every moving company to schedule a few jobs a day for the crew. They were not tired after the first job of the day. They take breaks between the jobs. 3. You were warned right from the beginning that since your job was being scheduled as the last one of the day there is a possibility that they will be coming a bit late or a bit early since it's very difficult to predict exactly until the very last minute how long each job will take. You were not charged anything extra. Check your Invoice. There is a breakdown for all the charges. You agreed to pay that price and signed a contract. 4. We did not break anything. During the first move client's friends started taking some of the furniture to the truck themselves. They decided to assist our movers since the house had to be empty until the certain time. Our movers are professionals and they would never just place the table like that in a truck without wrapping it first. Client's friends just threw that table on top of other furniture in the truck and as a result it got broken. They were not listening to our movers and were continue throwing furniture inside the truck. 5. We don't have such a pricing as $336 + tax. Last minute move and the end of the month is always a bit more expensive in all moving companies . But on certain days the discounts are available and we charge $45/per hour per person plus the fee for transportation if you require a truck. All charges were explained to the client prior the booking and he agreed with them and signed the contract. He also signed the contract in the end confirming that he has no complains to the company and there are no damages. 6. That's another lie again. Our movers always have tool boxes on them and they are great in Assembly and mounting the TV Screens. That's the part of their job. Truck also has all necessary moving equipment in it, such as: different types of dollies, moving straps, moving blankets e.t.c.... 7. The moving guys Do have the flooring covers in the truck and on a snowy day make sure that they protect the floors first before starting the moving. The only time when they wouldn't do it is when the client doesn't want them to spend time on this. The client was not there in present himself and the movers were given the instructions not to cover the floors and get things done faster by his friends and family. 8. Yes, they did have some difficulties to find a key from the mobile container on a second day because they just simply misplaced it in the pick up truck. We already apologized for inconvenience and the client was not charged for this time - 30 minutes - that the guys were looking for the key - were waved from the bill . The client was threatening us that if we will not give him a bigger discount then he'll come up with something bad and will write for us terrible reviews.

Do Not Use!!
TorEx arrived late, refused to wear masks in our home with our newborn present, asked for all the money upfront, and caused damaged to our new home and pool table. They said they would submit a claim to their insurance company and never did. I question if they even have insurance. We were told we should have taken pictures of our walls, floors, etc. before the move because there is no proof they did the damage. They also tried to charge us multiple times during the move and weeks later when I called to follow up with the “insurance claim”. Absolutely awful!
Response from TorEx Moving
We asked all the movers who worked on that day about it and they are saying that your stairs were already scratched before they even started the move anything around the house . The fact that we are asking you to provide us the pictures of the house from Before is just a Regular Procedure that we need to follow for the Insurance Claim. Especially if you are saying that the house was New, you should have the pictures of the stairs from before. You did not provide us with the right information about the stairs. You had more steps than what you paid for. That is why there is still the remaining balance that you have to pay us for the stairs. These residents who are really worried about their floors always provide us with Inspection Check List. And we do an Inspection Before and after the move. But you just told our movers to go ahead and start the move without any inspection. You and your husband were very happy in the end and right now it looks like that you are just trying to use our company to cover the expenses for the renovation that you've been planing to get done. Your accusations are false.

Don't use TorEx moving services- THEY DON'T DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY WILL
My movers (TorEx)were booked for 1pm and was delayed until 8:30pm. Had to leave property at 5pm when it was closing time. My furniture was outside on the rain and got damaged as TorEx never came to load. Had to move 4 bedroom house on pick up truck. TorEx didn't even pay my deposit of $200 back. They are very bad moving company, don't use them. JB
Response from TorEx Moving
Your move was scheduled for the second half of the day and you were explained that you are given only an approximate arrival window. All of our crews were working on the morning projects and whoever was going to finish first was suppose to be coming to you in the afternoon. You originally agreed with that. We were never informed about your closing time and that you have to leave the house by 5PM. You refused to wait for us to come and cancelled the booking. $200 Deposit is non-refundable if the client cancels it on their end you cancelled it yourself. We could have given that spot to somebody else, but we were keeping it for you. So we lost a client because this spot was reserved for you, but you decided to cancel it on us at the very last minute.

Con Artists With a Truck
Up until the day of our move my wife and I thought we were hiring another reputable moving company. It came to light the day of our move that it wasn’t the intended company, but TorEx instead. As mentioned above, we were pressured into hiring extra movers, guaranteeing that the move would be completed in the 4 hour timeframe. The movers arrived in a pickup truck towing a trailer with completely (and obviously) inexperienced “movers”. We were made to pay for the 4 hours when time was running out because the movers still didn’t have the truck loaded. Then we had to pay an additional 2 hours because the truck was loaded but hadn’t yet moved. We were given false expectations, and gouged. THEN we were advised that they would be dumping our belongings so they could move on, at the direction of [NAME EDIT] (the movers coordinator). They finally finished almost an hour before the then prepaid time was done, and one of the 4 movers we paid for left for over a half hour during the move. They broke a piece of furniture, and argued with me, saying that the item was like that when they got there, denying having broken it. We ended up paying over $3400, when we were expecting to pay about $1700. If you’ll notice the other reviews, ALL negative reviews are met with denials and excuses. We have emails, bank transfer receipts and text messages proving that the company moved us, forced additional movers on us, guaranteeing the timeframe, and the gouging. They’re scammers and liars. Definitely avoid them and make sure anyone that you know doesn’t hire them. This is all fact. I fully expect a denial to this review.
