I DO NOT recommend this company and here are the reasons.
Please review facebook reviews as well before you decide to go with this moving company and damage your home, furniture and peace of mind.
1. Overcharge at the end for 30 mins. The company charges in 30 minute slots and even 5 minutes into the slot, you get charged the whole amount. The movers closed the truck after finishing the move at 4:05. They were hanging out in the front yard for 10-15 mins and then left which meant the truck's GPS showed it at our house till 4:20. $90 hit right there.
2. They ask you to sign a contract after to move stating that there is no damage. We could not inspect all our furniture -- Remember we are paying for every minute as you inspect and we have a small baby to watch as well. The damages as shown in the pictures were sent via an email and they washed their hands off saying "You have signed the document".
3. The customer rep Alecia is very rude - we VERY POLITELY asked them to return our hammer that was taken by one of their movers and her email was directly copied and pasted here - "They DID NOT use your Hammer. They have around 3-4 Hammers in their own tool boxes. They NEVER use customer's Tools ". We called her back and asked her to ask one specific mover and they MAGICALLY found our hammer and now we need to go collect the tool instead of them delivering it because they will deliver at at their convenience.
4. They will tell you that they are good as assembling and disassembling furniture, THEY ARE NOT. We have a very common Ikea sectional that their team of movers could not re assemble, they wasted an hour on it, we asked them to leave it as we could just get someone else to do it for us instead of wasting money on them - remember $180 per hour. We hired someone from Task Rabbit who put it back in about 20 mins.
5. After all of these complaints Alecia has the audacity to ask us to recommend them to our friends so 'our friends' can get a discount instead of refunding us for the 30 minutes.
The movers were friendly and nice but they are not professional movers and should have taken better care in packing and handling of furniture as well as hardwood floors when assembling furniture.
During the move we bought them lunch and drinks without thinking about the time but at the end of this we were let down by the company which DOES NOT CARE at all.
