Horrible experience. Words cannot describe the pain of the experience with Adams Moving and Storage. Watches and grandfather's wedding ring were stolen among other things stolen. Numerous items were damaged. Strangers pilfered through all our boxes. They were received a mess and many were retaped. My golf cart was dented, the seat was ripped and the windsheild was cracked. It appeared they damaged our goods for the thrill of damaging our stuff. Dents, scrapes, rips to everything. Initial moving bid was $4,800. After half the truck was loaded they told me it was going to be $7,800. It ended up being $8,200. They told me on May 6th delivery would not be until between May 15th and 20th. I canceled my flight for May 7th. They then called me on May 8th telling me the truck was delivering our belongings on May 9th and if I was not there to receive it would be another 15 to 30 days. I booked a flight that day and paid a 250% premium. Repair to our golf cart estimate was $2,877. Stolen watches and damaged goods were in the many thousands of dollars. My grandfather's ring was priceless. After 8 to 10 hours collecting repair bids, finding website links to justify replacement costs of the items stolen, taking pictures of all the damaged goods and filling out their paperwork, they offered me $500 total. Please do not use these people or you will be sorry and call me if you have any questions. Dewey Davis (425) 830-2733 or dewey@pingyes.com.
