If I could give no stars, I would. We had over a $1000 damage to our moved items. Everything was well documented with pictures, receipts, etc. of the damage. After months of stalls and excuses from this company, we received less than $50 because they claimed they only pay for the weight of items damaged. This was outrageous. We had a large household to move cross country; we were up front with everything to be moved from a 3600 sq foot home. We were quoted $8000 under the actual price. We were told we would have 3 packers plus a driver and a full size moving van. The day the movers arrived, they came with a small truck and one packer who spoke no English and a driver who spoke fair English. They rented a 2nd smaller truck locally and still had tremendous difficulty cramming all of our household into these. Consequently, boxes and furniture was jammed doing damage to packed items as well as tears, scratches, and breakage to expensive household items. When the 2 movers arrived at our new residence, they demanded cash for carrying items to our lower level as well as the added charges for the truck. If we would have known the charges up front, we would have entertained other quotes. But most of all, we lost family heirlooms, had damage to beautiful quality furniture, and the frustration of dealing with an incompetent packer. We did not realize the extent of damage until unpacking. We would have NEVER TIPPED these horrible movers. We were remiss in heeding similar easily found online reviews of this bad moving company. Beware and steer clear of Atlas Mover Group. THE WORST MOVE EVER
