We moved 3 weeks ago. 3 miles distance between houses. I had reserved 2 trucks and 6 movers knowing I have a lot of heavy furniture and over 100 boxes. They came out 4 weeks before the move to quote and I received a call from their corporate team that I only needed 1 truck for my move. I told them I wanted 2 trucks and the day of the move they showed up with 1 truck and 3 movers. Started loading the truck at 8:30. The driver called his manager and said they needed extra help and was told by his manager that the customer got what they requested and no help would be sent.
On the 2nd trip, the movers were exhausted and got sloppy and that is where the damaged to my furniture started. They didn’t wrap things in full and scratched multiple pieces of furniture, broke a leg off of our entertainment center, broke a lamp shade in our new house and damage entryways into the house from hitting it with furniture. At 645, we let the movers go and had to rent a uhaul for 2 days and finish the move ourselves.
I was highly disappointed and called the 800 number and got someone in another town, I asked to have a manager call me and never received a call. 2 days later I called the Omaha office and asked to speak to the manager and was told one wasn’t available, I left a message to have my call returned. No phone call ever received, however I got an email saying that they received a message that I had damaged and was refusing to fill out the claim online.
3 weeks have gone by and they sent someone out to repair our furniture and all he could do was use markers to fill the scratches. I mentioned to him that I was still waiting for the manager to call me back and when he went back to the office to get his markers to repair our damage, he mentioned to the manager and returned with an email address for me to reach out to her.
$2300 later, I am disappointed with the company and don’t recommend them due to the management of the company.
