Booked Bradway Premier Removals to transport theatre group set and furniture to theatre and back to our studio a week later. We booked and confirmed with Matthew by email.
Texted day before 25/11/23 with a reminder to arrive at 8.30 am. No reply.
Van did not turn up. Rang, but no answer. Found address online and went round there, to see the van parked up outside. A lady was in - it was a house rather than commercial premises. She confirmed he wasn’t in and tried her best to contact him or find someone else to fulfil the booking, but couldn’t.
We had a three hour delay as we tried to find an alternative way of getting our stuff to the theatre on a Sunday morning; eventually managing to book a self hire van at short notice.
Anyone can make a mistake, it’s how you deal with it that counts. This trader did not even have the courtesy to offer an apology or contact us in any way whatsoever.
Find someone reliable.
