We hired Elite Affordable Movers (aka Moving More For Less) for moving & storage in late 2025 and it was disastrous, costing us thousands and thousands of dollars in destroyed, damaged, or lost belongings. The owners have since ghosted us rather than pay our well-documented claims. And even if they do eventually pay the pittance they owe per the contract, it could never approach the scale of the damage they caused. The level of this company's careless disregard for our belongings was staggering. Their employees seemed inexperienced, inadequately trained, and poorly supervised. As evidenced by the condition of our belongings when they finally arrived, many had been damaged in transit or thoughtlessly stacked in piles at the warehouse. Fragile items were crushed beneath the weight of heavy furniture. Mirrors, paintings in glass frames, antique lamps shattered into pieces. Valuable or antique furniture was gouged, scratched, or had pieces broken off and lost. Several pieces of heavy, well-made, expensive furniture were crushed beyond repair. Many items were irreplaceable family heirlooms. We must live with many of the damaged items as daily reminders of the incompetence of this company and their employees. If sharing our experience saves even one person from facing a similar experience, posting this review will have been worth it.
