We hired EZ Moving for a local move in Michigan. Similar to other reviews, the price was underestimated in order to win the job and we had to fight for them to even finish. The owner didn't provide enough movers or trucks and was ready to leave many items behind. The owner is refusing to take our calls at this point in response to a claim we provided due to missing items, scratched floors, and damaged goods. There are absolutely better moving companies out there, do not hire this one.

My wife and I moved from Detroit to Cincinnati last week (18-19 Dec. 2018). Terell, Jack, and Raymond were our EZ Movers. They were wonderful: courteous, hard-working, efficient, helpful, and good-humored. And Terell made sensible suggestions at several key points in the process. Of special note: The men offered to stay however long necessary to help us get settled in at our new home even though the day was getting late, and they had yet to drive back to Fraser. THAT was exceptional service. We were very pleased. I hope the three men can be given a special pat on the back for a job well done. In addition, Mary Dunn in the Fraser office was wonderfully accommodating about rescheduling our move at nearly the last moment in the first place because our family encountered a serious, unexpected medical problem forcing a delay. She deserves a pat on the back, too.

Stay away at all costs. Under quote you in order to get the job, then take their time in order to charge you extra at the end. By the way, they threaten to keep your stuff if you don't pay and tell you to go to court in order to get it back. Needless to say it ruined our move. Please avoid his company. There are plenty of other options.I wish I had done some more research and listened to the many reviews on this site, Yelp, and others.

The best experience I've had in a long time was with AAZ moving and storage, affordable prices efficient trucks wonderful techniques to get the job done neatly and in a timely fashion I recommend this company to anyone that has a long distance move they don't just come and help you move they save you money and saves your time wasted with other companies.. Thank You AAZ for a successful move.

We found EZ Moving and Storage on-line and regret we chose them. The owner came out for an estimate. He said the time would be around 8 hours and 15 minutes ($907) for "the worst scenario". However, it turned out they used 11 hours and cost us $1180 (30% more than the estimate)! Not sure if the estimate was way too off or the actually work took longer than it should be. We called the office to communicate with them about our frustrating experience, the office assistant said she would talk to her manager and respond to us that afternoon about the final payment. However, the office manager never got back to us until we called them three days later. That woman was extremely rude. Without listening to our complaint, she said she had done investigation (investigation without even contacting the customer?!) and their people did not do any wrong and 30% difference from the estimate was still “close”. She even said we owed them a late fee (we had been waiting for them to give us the final amount!) which she would “waive” for us. She threatened if we did not pay immediately, she would send the case to a collectible specialist and it would go to our credit report. We requested to talk to the owner. She yelled in the phone "I AM THE BOSS!" We never had the chance to communicate with the owner because all the communications with him had to go through the office and apparently the office blocked our message. The owner simply disappeared after the estimation. While we were naively waiting for the owner to contact us, we received a letter from a collect specialist. The office manager acted way faster reporting her customer than responding to them. Would never use this company again! .
