Warning on Flynn Moving Company

Mr. Brown,
We are in receipt of your decision, regarding our numerous losses, so realized, during our recent move. Your analysis and reconcile leaves much to be desired, as applied, to the various items damaged or having gone missing. You charge that some items were not listed in your manifest and therefore did not exist. Of course, you are well aware, we identified items to be loaded (with blue stickers). What actually occurred, was the unauthorized move of virtually everything (without blue stickers, including all of our clothing) driving us to occupy more bins than previously planned. You may recall our visit where we asked for some clothing and was informed of a cost ($50.00) to retrieve each bin (on a later date the charge was withdrawn). A number of costly items were broken (clearly identified "fragile' and contents, I.e. 'crystal'). In all, your arbitrary account lists our combined loss at $100.00. I would challenge you to replace items (at that price point), along with an artisan oil painting we have cherished for 27 years. I am missing 2 expensive ladders (telescope and folding) and a green 2700 psi pressure spray. There may be other items lost, yet to be identified.
Moving a household, at any cost, is a bruising proposition and one froth with many unfortunate outcomes. This one certainly qualifies … in said order. Meanwhile, you insult us with your attitude and your proposal for remuneration. We do not accept insults lightly .. nor do we need your paltry award. Rather, we invite you to keep your $100.00 (from us to you) and proffered, in the same insulting manner, as rendered to us. But, know full well, our extremely negative experience with your company will be well-documented and disseminated (with all available speed and distance).
