I've contacted this company few weeks ago. at first, everything seemed ok, the lady on the phone was nice and sounds professional. While searching for reviews and background of the company I found your web site. When I checked (through your links) I discovered that it is no active license and/or insurance for Hawaiian Moving. They advertise under a license of a company registered in NJ while they are based in CA. Please be AWARE of this company.

This is the second time we used Hawaiian Moving. This time we shipped a big item from CA to HI. The item was actually delivered from the store to Hawaiian Moving and they took care of everything. I was impressed they were able to ship the item right away and made an effort to find space in the upcoming shipment. The item arrived in excellent condition and earlier than expected. I would recommend Hawaiian Moving and I would use them again.

Excellent service. If I could give 10 stars I would. Shipping gal was very through, helpful. Called to remind me of how to prepare car, amt. of gas, follow up with paperword needed at dock when arrived etc. My new car was shipped from the dealer in Orange County so the Long Beach port to Kahului, Maui. She even did a follow up call, as I left to Maui before the car to make sure I knew what paperwork to get registered, checked on if service met my expectations etc. Just a great above and beyond customer service experience. Would definitely use again and Highly recommend. Mahalo!

We contacted Hawaiian Moving to move our household items from the SF Bay Area to Honolulu. We received a prompt call back and the quote was much lower than the national chains quoted us. The pickup date arrived and the truck was late as the driver had to drive up from Southern California. But the driver was courteous and did a good job. The goods arrived earlier than we had expected. The local delivery guys worked with us to find a good delivery date. All boxes arrived. A couple of boxes were pretty beaten up such that there was minor damage, but we packed pretty well. I recommend you pack everything very thoroughly so that you minimize this risk. We also shipped our vehicle. The cost was cheaper than what I would have paid Matson directly had I booked it myself. All in all, I would say this was a smooth and good experience, much better than the last time I moved to Hawaii!

I would recommend this company to anyone shipping a vehicle or otherwise. they take all the stress out of moving and are very knowledgeable!! I have used this company twice now to ship my vehicle. It cost me $990 (which will be raised an additional $30 starting 2013). They let you know exactly what you need to do. there is no guesswork on your part what so ever. It takes 10-15 days for the shipment of your vehicle from Hawaii to California or the other way around and they will call you as soon as its ready for pick up. .
