This was one of the most stressful experiences I’ve ever had with a company. First, they kept my $250 deposit even though I called less than 24 hours later to RESCHEDULE my move, not cancel it. Then they gave me an estimate over the phone without ever seeing the apartment, and the inventory list on the contract did not even match my items. The representative, Richard, told me not to worry about it and even admitted he signed the contract for me “to make things easier.” The move was confirmed for early morning because my building had strict moving hours. The movers never showed up on time, and after multiple calls, the manager Joe tried to push the move to the afternoon even after I explained we had a closing the next morning. Three very young movers finally arrived and immediately admitted there was “no way” the move would be finished on time. I scheduled a move with Jersey Moving Pro. It was a difficult move since they had to go up and down three flights of stairs and deliver the furniture to two locations situated far away from the pickup point. They showed up on time and were very quick! They were done in no time! The price was great and I have already recommended them to others.
