Unless you are a highly organized person who knows the rudiments of moving and can handle them well, do not use Mambo Movers.
They have attitude and they will leave you out in the cold. They are not the friendliest bunch, they are only there to move your stuff get a tip and move on.
Having said that, they handle most of your things carefully. They make sure odd sized pieces get in and out of the home creatively. I do like that about them.
They will not come to your home to give you an estimate before you move. Instead they arrive at your home and determine if their biggest truck is big enough for your items when you have a 4-5 bdrm home. If not, your plum out of luck. They say they can make two runs but in most cases won't. You will be looking for another mover for the next day.
As if moving isn't stressful enough! Who needs that when you don't have the luxury of another day to evacuate a home?
Be warned in advance. They are not the most user friendly bunch at all.
Additionally, we had boxes marked "Storage" and boxes marked "Apartment". We were downsizing, waiting for the Spring Inventory of houses to come up, as a result we rented for a few months.
When it was all said and done, we found we had in our apartment things marked "Storage" and boxes for our apartment went into the storage facility. That cost us unnecessary funds as we had to replace things that we could not find, unless we emptied and went through everything. Being 2 female senior citizens that wasn't going to happen. My printer, computer monitor, kitchen items, winter clothes were all in storage.
It was a most stressful and exhausting move. That a month and in we just getting over.
