During recent move Meta Van Lines was contracted through another company. Although I moved less than I had provided to other company price increased from $4460 to $5852 after a $500 discount. 5 people arrived and were professional and efficient. Upon arrival at destination location there was only one mover. Despite multiple complaints we were told “ we have insurance.” Eventually 2 day workers were called in with NO moving experience. The driver was using his teeth to remove tape. I paid extra for protection of fragile items, which is fine although these suffered costly and significant damage. Damage includes but is not limited to chipped and broken curio glass, chipped and broken marble top, wooded top broke off secretary, vanity broken into multiple pieces, chips of all sizes in furniture, multiple broken pieces of glass and china. We were offered $89 in compensation based on weight. The cost of damage done was in the thousands. DO NOT USE!!
