Excellent work ethics, courteous, very productive. I would recommend them highly. They were very careful with my furniture. They wrapped everything to make sure it would be moved safely. They were a huge help placing my things where I ask. I was very pleased with their service.

I used Morgan Van Lines to move from Alpharetta GA to Murphy TX in May 2016. We found that many items were missing and few items were damaged. I filed a claim to Anthem Claim Management, it took 2 months for them to respond in writing. Whenever I called them, they were saying they are waiting for some papers from moving company, when I called the moving company they said, they never received a request from them. These game continued for weeks and finally they said 'regardless of the papers, we will make a decision'. Last week I got letter from Morgan Van Lines saying they decided to pay me $110 for all my loss. That is not even covering 1 bicycle I lost. I submitted total of $1260. I lost many items, some of them I didn't even claim. There is a line in the letter saying that I have a right to request for arbitration, I called them but they said my arbitration period is over, I have only 60 days to file since I moved. This is purely cheating and it's a game. they are saying in the claim form that I have 90 days to file the claim since I moved, but I didn't wait that long. They delayed my claim till the 60 days period over and now they are saying either I take $110 or keep quite.

Warning! Ignore this review if you like to be misled, financially taken advantage of, treated rudely and disrespected. I am a spry senior citizen who thought she knew when and how to trust individuals and companies. I WAS FOOLED. I dealt with certain people at this company, Michelle the relocation consultant, and a dispatcher named Brain, both of who are liars and deceitful individuals at Morgan Van Lines. When this escapade started I called and spoke to Michelle and fell for her [EDIT], I informed her at this time that the largest truck I could use do to my location was a 28 foot truck. I told her a larger truck would not fit, she said she would send an empty 28 foot truck. She continuously stated “do not worry an empty 28 foot truck would arrive on our moving day”. When the truck arrived it was a 28 foot truck and it was half full already. The driver informed me that there was not going to be enough room for all my items. The driver called Brian the dispatcher and told him the predicament. The driver then told me I would have to rent a UHAUL truck at my expense, for another $1600.00. I called Brian the dispatcher back he said he would take $ 400.00 off the $1600.00 and now it would be an additional $1200.00 extra on the original total I was quoted for an empty 28 foot truck. Original total was supposed to be $4,380.00 and now it was $5.875.00 do to no fault of mine. There really was no choice but to pay as I was told by the driver that I would have to wait a week or two for another company truck to come and pick up the rest of my personal property. This is obviously part of their scam to rope you out of more monies than originally quoted. So after the UHAUL was purchased and my property was loaded on the additional truck, off they left. I moved on March 29th, 2016 with the promise I would have my property within 2 to 3 days. I did not receive my property until 12 days later, with constant postponements and lies as to why my property was still not delivered during this 12 day period. I could never get a straight answer from any one. Finally a driver named Ernest called me Thursday April 7th and told me he would be here Friday April 8th. On April 8th Ernest said he could not deliver my property until Saturday April 9th between 8am and 10am. I did not hear from Ernest by 10 am so I called him, he said he was at the gate of my development and was unable to get through the gates with his truck and was going to leave with my property. His truck had ample room to enter the gated community and deliver my property. He stated he would need to rent a smaller truck with an additional cost to me of $750. Ernest then claimed there were no smaller trucks available in West Palm Beach that day. I know he didn’t call because I contacted UHAUL and they had several available. Ernest then proceeded to exit the community and stated he would be back sometime the following week. This was unacceptable. As Ernest was leaving the community I called him and asked Ernest if he could pull his truck over somewhere that we unload my belongings. Ernest did comply and parked his semi in the parking lot behind the Publix. In return, I had to hire another mover to the tune of $600.00 to unload my belongings from the semi. Ernest was supposed to be taking inventory of my belongings as they were leaving the semi to my moving truck, however, I discovered that some of my items were missing. Ernest had assured me that all of my items were accounted for. They were not. I took it upon myself to go back and look in the dumpster behind Publix plaza and discovered some of my belongings broken in the dumpster. DO YOU NOT THINK THIS IS A DISGRACE?

I usually don’t make any comments or reviews when I have nothing to praise the company about, but I am obligated to make this review so other people will be aware. Reviews and BBB rating is so deceiving. The best thing is recommendation from others who had a good experience with their move. I’ll post pictures of how our things were treated and the estimate we got vs how much we ended up paying. Me and my family just moved from Florida to North Carolina. I wanted to share our experience with the movers that we hired, MORGAN VAN LINES. How I wish me and my husband were wise enough to stop the loading of our things when Mike, the Jewish guy who loaded our things gave us a different price from what Margaret gave us during the estimate. Margaret told us with all the things and furnitures that we were moving and I declared and described one by one including full packing and unpacking, that the total price was $3335. We ended up with $7000 and I tearfully negotiated it down to $5700 which was so much beyond our budget. We were forced to borrow money from relatives. These people and company have no mercy, they will rip you off whatever. We decided to not continue with them while Mike was loading our things but were promised that they will work with us and go down with the price to just about the price that was quoted by Margaret. This was a mistake. We were in a hurry to move our things because my husband would start his new job that Monday and we were moving our things Wednesday. Mike and another guy were the only ones who arrived at the house to pack and load our things considering that they were aware that we have a 6 bedroom house. It took them 2 days to pack our things and load them in the truck. They even have to barrow our car to get some food. Mike bought my dining table which I bought for $1700 originally and was selling only for $150. Mike said he will pay me when our things will be delivered. Gabi, another Jewish guy delivered our things and we never got paid. Mike loaded this dining set into our truck and used our space. He really ripped us off. These company and these people should be avoided. They won’t care what situation you are in. Me and my husband were giving up our house and going to live with my daughter because I am on disability due to my Parkinson’s and cannot afford our house anymore. We told them this but these people are just the worst kind we have ever come across. This is our 4th move and so far the most expensive and the worst one. WE never had a problem with our previous moves before. The thing that is so sad about this is that me and my husband with through all the movers and read all their reviews. Please beware and don’t go with the reviews. I can now imagine that their reviews are all fabricated because they were the ones with 90% good review and most have like 50/50 bad and good reviews. MORGAN VAN LINES had an A+ BBB rating and 90%good reviews. We got so unlucky to pick them. THEY TOTALLY RIPPED US OFF!! They said they have professional movers, they are lying. Gabi, the Jewish guy who delivered our things arrived alone and I did talk to the 5 people with him. They told me that they were just picked up from Craig’s list and were locals. Margaret said that the estimate was with full packing and unpacking. Our things were delivered like they were bought from a garage sale, the mattresses were not wrapped or covered, the TV was not even covered or protected, the chair was just bare and they just load them up to our apartment and that was it. Me and my husband did all the assembly of our beds and all the furnitures when this was supposedly full packing and unpacking including assembly. Our things were just dumped into boxes including the computers , no protection at all. This was just so much stress for us. The guy who shipped our car, a local of Wake Forest, NC said that really, in this earth you deal with 2 kinds of people, one who’s going to bend over to help you and the other is the evil who’s going to do anything to rip you off. This MORGAN VAN LINES is just that 2nd kind of people you come across. So sad to know that there are really people who have that evil heart to do that to others.
