An international move experience: Once my goods were shipped and before I received them, Planes increased prices two times, possibly three (through their international affiliate) after initialing an original agreement, and without any transparency. First time: being charged extra after an agreement on quantity of items (including weight), and they said it was based on their volume-weight formula, which I requested to know but they never revealed it to me. Second time: once in the receiving country, they issued an extra charge because of rising diesel costs in that country. I requested to see the clause stating that they could do that based on geopolitical changes- they didn't reveal it; I studied the rising diesel costs and came up with a cost increase about half of what they are charging me- I asked for transparency in how they derived the charge, and they described it to an extent, but their justification only explained 2/3's of what they are charging me.
