Horrible experience. They tried to schedule my pick up TWICE after they had already picked up my belongings. The two people who showed up to collect my things rushed the packing job (that I hadn't signed up for) and instead of breaking down my desk, they left it assembled so it would take up more room on the truck, and cost me significantly more, and then it arrived broken! I ended up paying nearly $2,000 to move a desk worth $160 and I wasnt anle to take all of my belongings. They lost a tub of items that were irreplaceable and also lost a box of books from a collection I spent years putting together. The guys that unloaded were the most unprofessional people I've ever met and they had my stuff shoved behind another person's things and ended up breaking a grandfather clock and 2 tvs(amongst other things) while trying to get to my stuff. No one will call me back about my missing items and no one will respond to text messages. Stay away from this company.... they don't give a shit about you or your stuff.

We made the mistake of utilizing this company for our cross country move from the West Coast to the Carolinas and it was an absolute disaster! We were quoted a low/affordable price based on my providing EXACTLY every item we would moved, down to the number of boxes, then when the movers arrived at our house they loaded half of our stuff and told us we were at capacity so we could either pay double or leave half of our belongings behind. When I asked how this was possible the movers informed us that the sales people were "shady" and intentionally underbid the business so they can double the price the day of when the customer has no option but to pay more. After we "agreed" to pay more, they put our stuff on a truck and.....lost it for the next 15 days and couldn't provide any updates as to where it was when we called them, every day for 2 weeks. Eventually we received our belongings 28 days later (while my 5 month pregnant wife slept on an air mattress for weeks) and when they arrived, although the movers were very nice, they broke a chair and put our bed together improperly and left before we noticed it. Just stay as far away from this company and their lies as you can. Any positive reviews are likely fake reviews.

Worst moving company ever! We were told our move from Cali to Texas would be a price of $2600 based off the pictures/videos and list of items provided. When the movers came one began to measure the size of the items. He began putting stickers on everything to label the items. He then stated we doubled the size of space needed. We booked for 400 cu of space in the truck for that price however he stated we had 800 cu instead which would bring our total over 6k! This is the day of moving. He then said we can leave behind the big items and only take the boxes for the price quoted. Mind you I had about 8 large boxes and the rest were small/medium boxes that was well under 300 cu. Crying because I didn’t know what to leave behind I noticed the boxes had the cu printed on them already. I then asked the move what was the size he put on his iPad for the large box. He pretended to scroll and answered 9 cu. Immediately I got so upset because I was staring at the HomeDepo box that stated 4.5 cu!!! I called him out on his lies. He literally doubled the amount of everything and just made up any number. He turned red and stated I’m just doing my job with a smirk on his face. The representative we initially booked with Gabriel did not respond to us when we began to call however prior to that he was so kind and answering every call we made. This was the worse experience of my life. I told them to get out my house immediately and to not take anything. We lost out on a $500 deposit and had to find another move n company as we had to be out of the apartment the next day. Please be aware they will quote you one price and change it upon arrival.

They were easy to work with able to schedule last minute and overall a good experience. The move went well and actually finished faster than they estimated saving me time. I'd use them again if I move in the future.

Can't say enough good things about Rapid Moving Company! I've had nightmare experiences with movers in the past, but these guys were a breath of fresh are. From the moment they got there the foreman and his crew were very nice and respectful. They went above and beyond the job that we expected. The price was exactly what they quoted, flat rate 100% true. I recommend these guys to everyone!!
