I was really nervous about hiring movers for a move over a thousand miles. You hear so many horror stories! But Rushmore was the real deal. They use their own trucks and their own staff which was a good sign right away. The movers were super professional, worked fast, and were really careful with everything. They shrink-wrapped all the furniture and padded every corner, which really calmed my nerves. They kept me updated throughout the process and delivery was right on schedule. The price was fair for the distance and the amount of stuff we had. Already told a few friends about them!

We had so much to move, almost 10 years of living in Portland! Beds, dressers, couch, dining set, around 40 boxes, plus all my husband's garage tools. We got a quote the same day we called, and it was really reasonable so we booked it. A few days before the move they called to make sure the date and time still worked for us, which was a nice touch. On moving day, the crew showed up right at 8am, walked through the house with us, and got right to it. They wrapped all the furniture in blankets and shrink wrap before anything went out the door. I was really glad to see that. They worked room by room and had the whole house cleared out and loaded in about 5 hours. Two days later they were in Klamath Falls, put everything in the right rooms, and even reassembled the beds and dining table for us. Not a scratch on anything! I’d definitely hire these guys again!

Had Rushmore Van Lines for a move from FL to Texas. Everything arrived quickly with all 8 pieces of furniture were intact. That was our biggest worry, to be honest. The guys who showed up for the pickup were really careful with everything, but they did take their time a bit. On the delivery end, though, they were super efficient and got it all done quickly. Really good experience, overall.

The move itself went great. The crew was on time, professional, and really careful with our stuff. No damage, nothing missing, so I can't complain there. My only issue was the communication beforehand. I had to call a couple of times to get updates on my delivery window, but once I did get through they were helpful and had answers for me. I wish they had tightened up on the communication. The movers themselves were awesome, though. Honestly, I was pretty nervous because we had a 65" TV and a couple monitors that I wasn't sure should even go on the truck. I almost pulled them out and drove them myself but the guys assured me they'd be fine and wrapped everything up tight. Sure enough, it all showed up in perfect shape, everything powered on with no issues.

My mother paid to ship some of her things to Alaska. The entire time we had 0 communication from the shipper and 0 idea where the stuff was. They never answered the phone, never called back, and would only speak to the third party company they were hired through. Took 45 days to get here and didn't even get a call before delivery.
