Do not use these people. They do not take care of your things at all. As well as overcharge. Anything that could break, did break. Furniture is chipped on the wood parts. Total disregard for our things

Do NOT use this company for your move. I was moving out of state, which the owner knew, and was to pack my 1 bedroom apartment into their truck and then pack the ABF trailer in Kent. They were supposed to wrap the furniture which they did not do. I did not know this at the time because I couldn't see what they were doing when they packed the ABF Trailer. I didn't find out about all this until the trailer was opened on the other side. They put clearly marked heavy boxes on top of my Great Grandmother's china cabinet, did not wrap any of my other furniture, which was chipped and banged up and some things almost completely destroyed. Most of my furniture was damaged. My expensive big screen TV was also ruined. Do NOT believe their advertisements that they are professional movers and they wrap and care for your things. They DO NOT. The owner also did not return any of my calls, so I am not sure that their claim they are bonded is true. I will be following up with the Better Business Bureau. I hope someone else will avoid my costly mistake and pass this company up for a legitimate mover who knows what they are doing and cares about what they do.

Had an apt at 3. By 430 we called to see what was going on since they never called us. They said they were running 2 hrs behind. The co-owner John, assured us if we reschedule for next day he will make sure his guys come at 3 and will keep on them about keeping in contact. Next day 330 comes by and still no word. After multiple calls, John finally answers telling us they will be there soon. We told them by 430 we had to close. 415 comes still no word. I spoke to John again. He assured me he would do this job the next day and be there by 3. He gave me his word this would not happen and he himself will do this job and will even show up early. Now on the third day, I get a call at 215 saying they are on the way, 30 min out. 2:50 another guy “Richard” calls say he just finished the job and is 30 min out. He isn’t sure who called me earlier and said there was no John that worked for the company. I called John and he tells me there’s no Richard but assured me his guy was on his way. 315 they finally show up. By 4:30 I had to send them away as they couldn’t lift the fireproof cabinet that I not only told John we had but also confirmed in an email that they could lift this. Compete waste of time and money. I would never recommend this company!! Even the mover Dominique said these problems happen when the owner James is away and John always has complaints. What’s that say when their employees talk about the co-owner?

They were supposed to arrive between 9 and 10 am, they arrived at 11 am. But then they worked non-stop for 4 hours (2 to fill the truck, then 2 to empty it). What I didn't know is that you have to pay for the trip back (in this case + 1.5 h!). It was $95/h and at the end the total estimation (5.5h) was right. They were nice and didn't stop (even for lunch), but didn't take much care of the furniture, our sofa cushion was torn and our dining table scratched. In the end, I have a mixed feeling, but it was our first move with professional so I can't compare.
