I will NEVER use this moving company again in a future move. While I give them two stars ONLY because they were on time, and nothing got damaged, I was in the end very disappointed with their service. They were moving my 2 bedroom upstairs apartment i was estimated 7 hours with 3 movers. Well on moving day they took 4 hours just to load the apartment itself (which they took their precious time, because they thought they had ample time and they did not) The men joked around and slacked off slightly it seemed when it came to how quickly they could have been moving. Then right at the end I asked them if they were going directly to the second pick up stop, (because per the scheduled move there was two pickup locations and then the final move destination for unload) and the lead guy looked at me like i had 3 heads and says "You have another pick up location??" and then had to go to his paperwork and make a call because he clearly had no clue. I have no idea who dropped the ball communication wise there but that is not my issue as the customer it is theirs as a company. Once we worked that out and they determined they'd "Do their best to fit everything in the truck" as he said we went on our way. I immediately called the contact I had for the company left her a message in regard to this issue because of course they were going to charge me for any time over 7 hours that they went. Got no phone call back until the following week from her, then she had excuses and said I had to speak to someone else in dispatch. This person calls me Thursday leaves me a message, I return his call and finally after calling again and again get him today Wednesday of the following week. The guy I spoke with clearly, did nothing to assist me but make excuses as to why the charge for the overage was "spot on" and then contradicted himself by telling me it should have taken them 5 hrs to load my apartment not 4, so they did ok. and when I questioned him about the fact that if it should have taken 5 hours to load just my apartment, shouldnt the estimate have been for much more that 7 hours with a second pickup stop and an unload as well???? which I think got attitude and nasty responses to and I eventually got so frustrated I hung up because I was clearly going to get no where. SO BUYERS BEWARE WITH THIS COMPANY!!!! THE COMMUNICATION FROM START TO FINISH WAS POOR, AND THEIR MEN AND LAZY AND SLACK AND MOVED SLOW TO THEN CHARGE YOU EXTRA FOR THE TIME YOU GO OVER YOUR MOVE ESTIMATE!!!!

Should have arrived at 8AM, but arrived at 1:00 PM instead. Kept my house on a truck overnight, so I had to move the beds on my own. They charged my credit card in prepayment, but 21 days later have yet to reimburse the overcharge. Every person I have spoken to since moving day has been rude and curt. The dispatcher on moving day said, "who are you going to complain to"... Well here's my complaint.

Great, honest company! Right out of the gate the salesman Al was totally upfront and honest about the fees and the amount of time that the move should take. We shopped around before we settled on Simonik, and found that their prices were comparable to everyone else in the area. It also gave us confidence that they were partnered with Allied Movers, which is a very large and reputable company. What ultimately sold us on the company was the knowledge and candor of Al when we called. He did not try to hide any costs or give us a misleading price that would only come to pass under best case scenario circumstances. The cost we discussed as being the likely amount ended up being exactly what we paid! The movers themselves were prompt and professional. All furniture was wrapped in shrink wrap or blankets. Corners of the wooden furniture was padded and protected so as not to chip or damage anything. The movers consulted us every step of the way as to where we would like everything placed, and they were very polite and courteous. The move went totally as planned and we couldn't be happier!!
