Poor experience overall. Refused to honor the declared value coverage included in our estimate, and because of a Sunday move, the office was closed so “there’s nothing we can do about it.” We asked about potentially rescheduling to be able to include the coverage, but Francine (manager?) could not help us or give us availability because of the office closure. She was extremely rude.
The crew chief Frederico was curt the entire day. Thank goodness I speak Spanish or we wouldn’t have gotten anywhere. The rest of the crew was helpful and amicable. The move generally went quickly, although they refused to take anything not in a sealed box (e.g., lamp shades that we didn’t want stacked, empty outdoor pots).
At the end of the day, we were overcharged by a half hour and the crew chief refused to adjust the time even after showing him the call history on their arrival time.
If you have a choice for movers in the Chicagoland area, go with anybody else.
