The worst part came during the unloading process. First, they refused to take anything to the second floor of my new place because they claimed the stairs were too steep. I had explicitly mentioned in my booking that my new apartment was on the second floor, and nobody raised any concerns at the time. So now, I’m left dragging boxes and furniture upstairs myself. But that’s not all. Half my boxes looked like they had been thrown off a cliff. Crushed edges, broken tape, and one box was literally wide open with my belongings spilling out. My flat-screen TV? Completely shattered. They had the audacity to say it must’ve been like that before the move, while I personally packed it and wrapped it with bubble wrap.

To make matters worse, they kept adding hidden fees throughout the process. They charged me extra for materials, although I didn’t ask them to use any extra supplies. Then they tacked on an additional labor fee because the move took longer than expected—probably because they showed up late and took multiple smoke breaks! I ended up paying almost double the original quote, and when I tried to dispute it, they gave me some nonsense about policy and how the crew had to adjust to unforeseen circumstances.

I was left with scratched furniture, broken items, and a ridiculous bill. Moving is stressful enough without having to deal with such unprofessionalism and carelessness. I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere.

The movers I worked with from USA Preferred Movers LLC were the best part of the ordeal. We had a preliminary meeting where they gave me a significantly lower quote than I had anticipated. My representative regularly contacted me to ensure that things were progressing as planned. Wow, fantastic work, everyone.

Thanks to their expert coordination, they handled the entire relocation with precision and harmony. They had an impressively efficient rhythm as they lifted and loaded heavy objects. I'll never forget that symphony!
