Moving in Florida: who regulates the mover

What to know before the deposit
Chapter 507 of the Florida Statutes requires in-state movers to register with FDACS and give a written estimate before loading. Registration is not a quality mark; it means the state can find them.
Registered is not the same as good. A state credential means the office can find the company and that it filed what the state requires. Read the dated reviews, then call.
