   Unprofessional, reckless, will destroy your furniture

   One of the worst moving experiences I've had. (And I've had many.) First, they were late (4pm). Second, they drastically underestimated the job (took them 8 hours instead of 6) despite our communicating in ample detail about the scope of the job. Third, they didn't seem to know what they were doing, frequently getting into tricky situations that they didn't have a clear way out of (and requiring input and assistance from me). Fourth, they significantly damaged a few pieces of our furniture due to inappropriate packing techniques: 1. my dining room table was rendered useless by snapping the cast metal base in two; 2. my metal coffee table leg was very bent; 3. my girlfriend's old mirror was shattered. We had signed up for the basic damage coverage, which was $0.60/lb. Terrible coverage, and a big mistake. My table (less than 2 years old) is now out of production and I cannot get parts for it. It remains to be seen whether it can be repaired. So, if you choose to hire these guys, be well aware of the above issues you will encounter if you do not do your due diligence ahead of time! Get the best insurance, plan extra time, expect things to be broken. Despite all the problems we had with them, including the reckless way they strapped my furniture in their truck, they refused to grant my claim for the replacement cost of the dining room table which was unrepairable and irreplaceable by the manufacturer. In my opinion, the insurance coverage we purchased should only apply to "normal wear and tear" incurred during a typical move, like scratches and dings -- not to the gross negligence of the movers. They failed to see it this way. So now, I am receiving $132 toward the replacement of my otherwise like-new $500 table. My advice: plan well ahead so you don't get stuck having to hire Aardvark to do your move.

   Never Use This Company!!

   I WILL NEVER, NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN!! When you call in and get a quote from Bill, he give you a quote that you agree to! Then they schedule a time that they were 2 1/2 hr late to pushing everything else back, take their time to run up the clock. DAMAGE MULTIPLE ITEMS IN THE PLACE, ASK FOR A TIP BEFORE GETTING STARTED, then when they are done give you a final price that is WAY more than agreed to. " A trip charge of $140" that the movers said " they just started doing that ". I have used this company many many times as well as referred MANY people to. NEVER AGAIN!! IF ANYONE IS LOOKING FOR A MOVING COMPANY RUN! RUN FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!
