   NY move.

   Extremely professional and efficient movers! My husband and I booked a three-man crew to help us move a queen size bed, a heavy study desk, a three-seater couch, a book shelf, and several boxes. They came at the scheduled time (~1pm) and finished wrapping and loading everything in one hour (we lived on the 7th floor, and the elevator was on the other side of the hall). Unloading only took about 30 minutes. This is, by far, the best mover we have hired - no slacking off, no hidden fees, no BS! Highly suggested! Tips:1) Give a very detailed inventory at the time of booking - the more detail you provide, the better estimate of time needed for the job. I listed everything my husband and I wanted the movers to move; the booking agent told us that it would take 2 hours to move everything over, and guess what.. it took 2 hours and no more. 2) Take the bed apart before the movers come - queen size beds wont fit in most of the guest elevators. If you take the bed apart and have the pieces ready for the movers, it would save you A LOT of time. 3) Box everything small that you want the movers to move - yes Aussie movers have boxes for you but again it would waste so much time boxing stuff. Remember, the service is charged by hours.

   Unprofessionals.

   I happened to bump into them through Google. Problems faced as below:   1. Gave the quote and told it would not change but too around $300 more. 2.  During pickup in NH they charged my extra $75 for the stairs to second floor but most of stuff those two people got out of my balcony and threw away lighter items like anything. Like carpet, small rolls and those were all over the parking place. The person James was very rude. 3. Had to call many times for the delivery day and time but there was hardly any response. Joseph, the pickup and delivery manager, was very rude and never responded to calls and sms. Hard to reach him. 4. While delivery, 3 people came and as soon as they entered, they ask to pay the remaining amount first. Then he asked me how much tip I would pay so that they would give good services. I offered $30 and he was not fine with it. Then he told he would charge extra $75 for long distance or he would charge $150 as I had two portion of stairs (3 and 5 steps each). (My apartment is on 1st floor). This was real cheating. Then , he got all the stuff from backside and he parked his truck just 50 feet away though he was reluctant for extra $75.  5. Most of the stuff had dust on it. 6. They lost the screws for my shoe rack and told me that they will get back to me, but never got back. I emailed, called, but no reply. 7. When I complaint to Joseph, he told they don't want my screws. He was rude and instead of telling me that he will find it, he was talking like I did something wrong. Shoe rack is totally unusable without the screws but they don't care. 8. They gave me the quote of $1450 but took away around $1735 from me. 9. If some thing is broken or misplaced, they will give you 60 cents per pound. So, if they loose you laptop worth $600, you will be paid as per laptop's weight. I came to know about this when I about to file for shoe rack claim. All in all, very bad services and not at all professional. Go with some one better who don't loot you of the money like this.    .

   If you want a hard time, no satisfaction, damaged items and lost items and a lot of grief and no response to requests, than this is your company - in delivering that they are 100% ACCURATE.

   This company was very dishonest from the start. DO NOT USE THEM! I was quoted a price over the phone, which seemed fair. The day I moved, the company that I thought was moving me, changed there business name without telling me to Zip to Zip movers. Half way through my move, the head guy told me it would could 3x's more than what I was quoted. I was in a jam due to relocating to Florida within days. As the head guy was walking out the door, he told my items would sit in a warehouse in New Jersey until they had a full load to deliver to Florida. Moving forward, 28 days past without my things arriving to Florida. When the truck arrived, my boxes, furniture and personal things were so tightly packed in the truck, they had to destroy my boxes to removed items. What a nightmare, almost 80% of my belongings were destroyed in this move. They packed a 1940's rocking chair for me, and they LOST it!! How could you lose a rocking chair?? As I unpacked my items from the boxes, many items were broken.. I called them out on it, they told me they were not responsible for the damaged because they didn't pack my items. I truly had a melt down, because my things were destroyed. It cost me about $10,000 dollars to move from R.I. to Florida.

   Do not use this company! They are shady and a rip-off, I had thousands of dollars in damages and my estimate was $3500.00 and I ended up paying them $9000.00. They were a day late and then told me they did not have enough room in their truck for all of my items. I had to leave a lot behind. It was snowy/rain and they destroyed my carpeting when I left and I lost my security deposit because they trashed my rugs. They were unprofessional and very shady. I did not trust them at all. I made a huge mistake believing "David" who was my initial contact person. It's a scam! And I did not move any appliances!

   Scam Artist Alert !

   We enlisted Accurate Moving Services to help us move across a few states. They were extremely sweet and helpful at the start, while they were making the sale. They quoted us an extremely INACCURATE and LOW price for our move. On the day of the move they charged us TWICE what they had quoted. When we contested this with the owner, the owner threatened to unload all of our possessions onto our lawn !! In the end, out of sheer frustration, we agreed to his price. On delivery, the movers arrived in a small truck (proving that they over estimated our move volume and over charged us).   We are purposely leaving details out because we actually feel threatened for our safety after our interaction with this company.   DO NOT trust these guys. They are clearly scam artists. This is only website where they have "good" reviews" Look on others. Look at their rating on better bussiness bureau website. These guys are truly terrible. Do not believe them for one moment !!

   Sales reps that lie and fragile stickers ignored! Damages!

   Kate Perez swore and guaranteed me that my boxes would be loaded onto the truck and not taken off until they arrived at my new location. As it turned out this was just a blatant lie to get my money. Accurate also charged me double what they quoted. When I learned that my boxes were going to be offloaded to a warehouse and then once again unloaded and put onto another truck, I called her. She started to give me some sales pitchy comebacks to change the subject and when I insisted she address my concern she replied with "Oh, well, I will have to call my manager and get back to you" and of course, she never did. All the fragile stickers I had put on boxes containing antiques were ignored and the boxes just loaded haphazardly. I have put in a claim but totally lost any kind of faith in Accurate movers. Don't buy the lies!!

   Lying, cheating, don't trust them.

   If there were negative stars, I would put them there.  Not only did they not show up on time, they showed up with damaged materials, put holes in our walls when they moved in, and did over $1000.00 worth of damage.  They thought $66 was a good amount to give us for the damage.  The owner is an arrogant [EDIT], that spent time yelling at me because HE put the wrong amount on the bill and I held him to it.  There was a $200 charge on the bill for "sanatizing" the trailer.  When we got our stuff, many of the boxes were wet and damaged because their truck had a "Leak".  Guess the $200 is for them to clean up their crappy trucks. DON'T use them.  They are horrible.

   Dishonest, borderline extortion, illegal practices.

   I selected Accurate Moving Services based on the estimated price, and the salesman's assurances that they were an independent company that handles all aspects of the job, and does not subcontract like many other moving companies. The salesman took extensive time with me to perform a room by room inventory to create the estimate, sent me links to USDOT so I could see their service record, pointed out the number of trucks, drivers, and miles they had logged. This was to ensure to me that I would be dealing with Accurate Moving Services 100% of the time. So, I chose them. Once I signed the estimate and gave them my business, I was asked for a date range for pickup, and would be notified by the dispatcher when the truck would be coming. This notification never happened. I had to call the salesman several times to coordinate the pick up, each time he assured me that the dispatcher would call me that evening. He was surprised to hear each time when I told him that I received no calls. Additionally, I wanted to specify which date for pickup. But I was not allowed to do that. I was able to specify a preferred day, however, they gave a date range of when they would be there. Apparently, despite committing to paying over $5000 to this company, the customer is at the discretion of the company as to when the service is going to be rendered! When the truck finally arrived to pick up my stuff, on the last day of the date range.. not my preferred day of course, it did not have Accurate Moving Services on it. It had 2 different names, addresses and USDOT numbers, clearly indicating that it was subcontracted for the job. Again, in direct opposition of what the salesman went out of his way to assure me. The paperwork that the foreman had was also incorrect, stating a different charge per cubic foot, and a total that was nearly $300 more than the estimate I received and agreed to. We disputed this, and he called the office, so this was resolved rather quickly. The estimate was for 1400 cubic feet. I later found out that providing an estimate based on cubic feet rather than weight is ILLEGAL! This explains why every other estimate from the national chains (like United and Mayflower) only had a weight estimate, not cubic feet. The foreman stated that his truck was 2700 cubic feet, and my estimate would fill just over 1/2 of the truck, packed from wall to wall, floor to ceiling. He stated that looking at my stuff this shouldn't be a problem. Later, as the guys started to fill the truck, he said that I might exceed, that I would be charged $4/additional cubic foot, and maybe I wanted to consider leaving some stuff behind. As the day went on, it was clear that I was going to significantly exceed 1400, and I wanted assurance regarding the size of the truck, because much of my research indicated to me that there was no way the truck was 2700 cubic feet. I called the salesman several times to get the dimensions of the truck that was dispatched to my home. He said he would have a manager call me. No one did. Finally, on the 4th call to him, he connected me to the owner. I could not understand the owner's name through what I believe to be his thick Russian accent, but he said they had no idea how big the truck was, and the foreman should know. But if I had doubts, I should measure it. So I did. Come to find out, the truck was only about 2100 cubic feet. The foreman's response to this was that it wasn't his usual truck, and he just assumed it was the same size. Regardless of the size of the truck, the estimate was grossly inaccurate. I decided that I would not be able to incure much more of the additional fees, so I started selecting items to leave behind. Like dressers, all of my dining room chairs, a full bedroom set, lawnmower, etc. Despite this, once the truck was packed and remaining space measured, I was nearly 400 cubic feet over the estimate (would have been double that if I did not question the size of the truck!). So, I incurred nearly $1400 additional charges which of course now that everything was loaded onto the truck I would have to pay before the would deliver and unload it (can you say extortion?), AND I had to leave behind a lot of stuff, which I then had to figure out a way to deal with!! The bottom line is: This company is a scam! Dishonest, illegal practices, unprofessional (did not call when they said they would, foreman was unaware of the actual size of the truck, would have over charged me even more because of that). They made an already stressful event in life exponentially worse! NEVER USE THIS COMPANY.

    Disconnect between Words and actions.

    Beware of dishonest practices of these movers. In order to get the job they will promise anything. After considering numerous quotes, I signed up with Accurate Movers for my cross country move from Rhode Island to Oregon this February 2015. Before paying them the deposit, I clarified with their sales person Frank that I am moving to a downtown location and only a 26' to 27' truck could park. He promised that it will be a 27' truck and there would be no extra charges. I told him that they would need to use an elevator for which there was a $75 charge and had him include that in the quote. I once again reiterated on the truck size as other movers had quoted based on this downtown location. Frank was confident that his price is good. The only extra I needed to pay was if my volume increased, which did and I compensated the extra $s. On reaching Portland, Frank is nowhere, the truckers disown him and refuse to unload the truck unless I pay the an extra $400 for the small truck they had to use for coming downtown. I am totally shocked and had a terrible experience, would not recommend them.
