    They made it happen.

I have used professional and non professional services on more than one occasion and after reading some of these reviews I would like to start off by stating that there is no such thing as a 'perfect' move (even if you move yourself). SO, with that being said please don't allow anyone to tell you otherwise. I have used this company twice now and have had decent moves, of course I did use common sense to my ability and wrapped my own valuables to the best I could along with doing my own packing. It's true when they say if you want something done right the first time, then you should probably do it yourself. When the movers came I made sure I stayed on top of everything & directed them throughout the process. Overall the guys did a good job (whether they came from Home Depot, Workforce, next door, down the street, whatever, at this point I don't really care) point blank, they did a good job. I got my items within the time frame originally quoted, the only real issue I had was when I attempted to call the customer service line. The high volume of calls those girls received led to impressively long hold times. Aside from that my sales representative was great and helpful, the office staff seemed as friendly as anywhere else, and the office location was local to me. I had a few broken items, a box was left accidentally but was over nighted per one of the managers for me, and I was under quoted a tad bit but that of course was my fault because I left off a few items. All issues were understandable & negotiable through the company whether I was at fault or not. AGAIN, my move wasn't 'perfect' but I'm not the type of person to give my personal experience to falsely expose the company nor do I ever expect a service whether it be the worst or best I've ever had to be free. I've used Atlas, Mayflower, and Allied before, paid almost triple the price and have gotten the same services along with the same few issues. I worked closely with my representative to ensure we were all on the same page throughout the entire move & had little to no problems. Working in the mobil industry causes me to relocate a little more than I personally would like but overall the team was helpful throughout each move I had with them and I plan to utilize their services again in the future.

    Extremely bad service.

Worst experience.. very bad service.Hired King David Moving and Storage to move from Seattle to LA. Denise was very good till I placed my order and paid my advance. Total cost decided as $1400Luggage was picked up and right size truck was sent to pick it up.Problem started when delivering the luggage at destination.Driver calls and informs me that he will be delivering the luggage tomorrow between 8 to 11AM.He calls next day morning informing that he has brought luggage in huge highway container and it does not fit on the road to my apartment. (Really amazed that this company expects to move around cities, delivering consignments in huge container trucks.)This Driver Alex, gets his truck 10 minutes walk from my apartment and informs that he will charge me $400 to hire a shuttle to transfer the luggage till my apartment. I cannot believe this charge and call their customer service. After long hold, lady on the phone tells me that she cannot do anything and I will have to listen to what the Driver tells me and pay the amount.Driver then after 3 hours gets the luggage in uhaul carrier which is available at max $50 per hour. This is only one driver moving all my boxes, and he charges me additional $130 citing that my apartment is 35 mts from the road where he parked the uhaul shuttle. So I had to pay $530 additional and worst part is the driver was so arrogant that he refused to allow me to even see my luggage till I paid this amount in cash. (I had to struggle to get this additional cash of $530 as they refuse to accept cheque).Once I pay the money he starts moving the boxes and was careless enough  to calmly drop 3-4 boxes when shifting. On counting the boxes, I find one box missing. This driver informed that he will check in his truck if the box is left there. I then receive a call from him that the missing bag is in the truck but he has to deliver some other consignment and he will deliver the bag back next day. Its 3 days now and I am still waiting for driver to return or call back.I called their customer support and the lady again informs me that she cannot do anything and I need to contact the driver. So if you need to experience some extremely bad service go with King David Moving and Storage. They will try to do everything right till they pick up your luggage, and then you should be ready to pay huge amount with a lot of pain till you hopefully all your luggage back.     Mandar.

Do Not Use King David moving.

Awful is an understatement.  Avoid this company at all costs.  Bobby will tell you how great they are and about their multi star ratings with someone, but it's all garbage.  From the moment my belongings were picked up the problems started.  They have absolutely no communication with you first off.  I couldn't get any information from the "customer service" reps who have no customer service skills.  Had no idea when my things were going to arrive.  Delivery date not guaranteed, I get it, but an idea would be nice.  I notified them on August 3 that I wanted my things on sept 5.  My stuff arrived on Sept 11 and I found out never left Washington until Sept 4 en route to New York. Now let's talk about the condition my things arrived in..I have moved long distances with moving companies on 3 prior occasions and I always expect a little damage, but I the amount of damage and destruction King David caused was staggering. The moving pads they wrapped my leather couch in looked like they had been dragged across the asphalt for miles, and my leather looked about the same.  Broken dishes, broken glasses, broken lamps, damaged dresser, a steel TV stand destroyed, a statue that they charged me an extra $75 to pack destroyed.  The solid wood legs on my dining room chairs were broken off, the table itself was damaged as well.  Every single box they unloaded was crushed it looked as though everything had just been thrown into a truck.  Now I get to deal with filing a claim and based on my experience so far, I'm certain that will be loads of fun.  King David Moving knows nothing about moving, find another company or load a Uhaul and do it yourself, you will save a ton of money in the long run. The photos I have shared are only two of the 35 I have taken so far. New damage and destruction is found in every box. The first photo is my $4000 leather couch while still wrapped. The moving pad is literally  destroyed and so was the leather under neath. The second is an eagle statue that they charged me and extra $75 to package.

DO NOT USE - Regretted USED.

I contracted with King David Moving and Storage through its branch in Tacoma, WA to move from Bellevue, WA to NJ in late May, 2015.  Although the scheduled delivery date was set to June 10th, the actual delivery date was June 30th.  Compared to others, I was lucky to have most of my stuff delivered with some sever damages to some furniture and had only one item got lost.  Although it was just a cooler, it was one of the most important one.  It contained lots of assembly parts for my furniture.  I placed numerous calls to customer service.  However, after a long waiting time, I always got the answer from them - file claims to the insurance company.  Terrible Customer Service.  No help at all, not even try to provide assistance in finding your lost item.  Advice - try to avoid this mover if you can.

    Do Not Use!

Used King David to move out of state (from Houston, TX ), and regretted it! They stole a box of electronics and made us pay for extra boxes they didn't even use! Seriously, do not use these guys unless you want your stuff damaged or stolen! Boxes were also damaged. We had some paintings that the movers were going to put inside boxes, but they were unprotected and damaged. Had trouble contacting the representative about delivery and pickup dates.

Use the service if you can afford to have your furniture broken.

We moved from Missouri to Delaware and used this company because of its reasonable price and the good review I saw on the website http://www.mymovingreviews.com/reviews.php?action=add&step=fillform.   With my experience, I suspect the review on this website is filtered.  I will know if my review will show up.    Damages and missing items at delivery   1.    One office chair is deformed with one leg  twisted  and hence cannot land on the floor evenly   2.       The tempurpedic king size spring boxes are damaged at corners and one spring box has a long cracking on the top.   3.       One night stand is broken at the neck and is completely unusable   4.       One book case is completely broken and unusable.   5.       My stainless steel trash cash is badly dented and cannot recover.   6.       Two plastic boxes are missing   7.       Two dinning table extension leaves are missing, which makes my dinning table much less desirable because now it can only fit six people instead of ten.    8.       Both my king size  and queen size mattresses were dirty when arrived        Sales person: He is friendly and give me some discount. Discourage me to purchase the full value replacement plan. Hence I chose the basic coverage. Now I don't know how much I can get back for the damaged furniture   Pick up team:   It is a three- person crew. One person mostly did the inventory  and paper work and the two others did packing and moving. I was originally impressed by the way my sofa was wrapped and hence trusted them with the rest. But there was one book case having a broken leg. I suggested removing all three other legs so that it would be even. They said there was no need to do so and said that the book case would be fine. However, I regretted that I didn’t insist because the bookcase arrive completely broken. I also regretted that I didn’t pay attention how they wrapped my dinning table because I lost two of my dinning table extension leaves,  which was the main reason I bought the dinning table for.   Delivery team:   Compared to the pick-up team, the delivery team was rude and unprofessional.   1.    Sloppy about their delivery time; be aware of hidden waiting fee ($150 per hour if you let them wait); however there is no fee paid to you if they are not punctual.   I called the driver several times to figure out when they would arrive. Twice they gave me false information. First time, they said they should arrive in one day and would call me within 24 hours before arriving. However, they never called and didn’t arrive on the day they said so. So I called again and they said they would arrive around noon to oneish. Then around noon time, I called again, they said they were having lunch break and would not arrive until two. Because the driver never gave me an accurate time window, I thought I would have time to go grocery stores to buy some water and ice cream to treat the delivery team. While I came back to my house, they have waited for 10 minutes and they said they needed to charge me $150 waiting fee. I was upset and said they were changing the time all the time and now they wanted to charge me for waiting for 10 minutes after I have been waiting for them to give me an exact delivery time and date for days.  Finally he agreed not to charge me for that 10 minutes but asked me to pay in cash or money order before they can unload. It was my mistake that I didn’t get my money order ready.  Then I paid $150 to learn the difference of the postal money order and bank money order.  At the pickup, they accepted the bank money order and hence I automatically thought they would accept bank money order at delivery.  But by the time I came back from the bank with my bank money order, the driver was gloating over my mistake and showed one of the many papers which clearly said that they only accepted the cash or postal money order.  OK, it was my mistake for not carefully reading all the terms in all those many pages of documents with the stress of long distance moving. I had to go back to bank to get cash and of course, I had to pay $150 for their waiting because one hour passed by after I went to bank twice.   2.       The delivery team consisted of the driver and one young men. But I think without my husband’s help, I don’t think they can get some of the furniture in. When unloading, there was no respect to my new installed hardwood floor. One piece of my hardwood is broken!! We requested them to put the coffee table in the living room and install one of the lazy boys. But they left leaving these jobs to us.   3.       My boxes were treated all the same and there was no attention paid to the warnings on the boxes such as fragile and this side up. Fortunately, I packed my stuff very carefully  but still several dishes were broken. So don’t even bother to write warnings on the boxes if you are packing yourself.          .

Very unprofessiona, arrogant manager and foremen.

Is anyone using these guys ? Dont even try using them. Hidden fees and hostage taking of your goods. Promised free storage that never was. Arrogant. Manager who threatens to auction your goods. Look for another company to move and not these guys. We had lodge numerous complaints in order for us to finally get our goods. Please don't try these guys.

Worst Experience I have ever had!

Hired for my grandmothers move to Florida, they quoted $3143.81 for 857 cubic feet, when they picked up items in CO we refused to sign loading paperwork because they looked at it and said - oh more like 1200 cubic feet & wouldn't measure, did not stack to top of truck because they said truck delivering would be shorter. I called and was told we would get a remeasure upon delivery. Instead they came with a huge truck & said they would not re-measure because our stuff was in the back and the transport service they hired ( a 3rd party) didn't measure by cubic feet - just weight, which they did not know because there were 3 households on our truck and ours was in the back, but being delivered first. Then they said the used a larger truck so is could not get into the neighborhood we had to pay an additional $500 cash to the driver to put in a different truck or we could unload it in the parking lot where they parked and handle it ourselves.  There were several conversations where he threatened to hold her stuff hostage or take it somewhere else if we didn't pay the driver of the 3rd party cash and take him to rent a smaller truck. Credit card was charged almost double estimate, we finally a day later and several hours later than he said he would be had the "mover" in his slip on open toed sandals move from one truck to another and got a measurement we had him sign off on - called Kevin - who is the owner but goes by Kevin because he does not like to use his real name he said he would send a check for difference - 2 1/2 months later and several phone calls and email, still no refund. Items were opened and tossed into larger because so they could charge us for boxes and packing, they were already packed and marked Packed by owner as they requested. there were large holes in many items, fragile glass ware and antiques were tossed in larger boxes and literally tossed into a bedroom where they stacked everything they brought - all in one bedroom with Fragile items on the bottom,  dozens of items were completely broken, and antique   table was left unwrapped and upside down in the truck with boxes on it, it is damaged beyond repair.  My grandma has been in tears every time she opens a box.  We told them stuff was missing, they never even delivered the glass table tops, but didn't care because they did not check off anything on the bill of lading just drew a straight line.  Missing many many items and so many were broken it is unbelievable. They charged us for additional packaging of items that they did not pick up even though it was on there list - 2nd TV and packaging and box - but he said we have no way to prove that it, so it doesn't matter. They did not unwrap, check anything or place anything in the correct room, they gave us NO time to count items, look at items, and it didn't matter because we could not get to any of them anyway! I could go on and on, but really PLEASE READ BBB reviews,  long story short, owner is exceptionally uncaring, could care less about customer service, hires third parties to do the work that are not movers just trucking companies. There were two guys who delivered and there was absolutely NO professionalism, just toss it and run.  This is over 2 months later, we are still missing items, still finding broken items and still un-stacking the ceiling high mess they tossed into one of my grandmas bedrooms. I have never experienced such a blatant disregard for professionalism, industry knowledge, service or accountability. Please read reviews carefully before hiring this mover! Ask them who will actually be delivering and driving your items across country. Moving is stressful enough and this horrible company made it so much worse, we feel completely ripped off by price and service and the owner literally does not care and just keeps registering his business in different states. Went from Memphis to Houston, his only truck is registered with DOT in Los Angeles and he works out of his home in Washington.  Please DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE HIRING, I wouldn't wish this experience on anyone!  .

    Horrible move!

Move was awful! We were quoted a price, then the price was increased; then when the truck arrived they wanted $2000.00 cash more or the truck wouldn't be unloaded. We were told there were professional movers at both ends, but when truck arrived with only driver & 1 helper, we were required to go pick up migrant workers at Home Depot to unload. Not professionals. When truck was unloaded, MOST items were damaged, & about half were severely damaged. We contacted the company but haven't had any satisfaction. This was all last August and we've been too upset to try to pursue it. I still hope to get some communication from them. We're elderly and this is very hard to deal with.  We did pay the extra $2000.00 cash so the move turned out to be about double our original quote. .

DO NOT USE All Services Movers.

My experience with All Services Movers has been the worst experience I have ever had moving and one of the worst customer service experiences of my life. I selected this company for my move from Austin to San Francisco based on promises on their web site and the sales person (Scott) regarding their pledge to treat my household goods carefully and to provide courteous service. They were not the low price bidder.    Pick up The moving crew that picked my items up in Austin took an extremely long time to complete my relatively small job. They were unprofessional and worked very slowly.  My roommate at the time joked that they must be getting paid by the hour due to their inefficiency. The team also showed up much later than agreed on. Prior to the movers coming, I had spent a considerable amount of time wrapping my furniture in plastic and bubble wrap to protect it. It is a good thing that I did so, because they were not all careful with my belongings.  I had to insist that the large furniture was wrapped in pads and I had to correct the movers more than once, instructing them NOT to put tape directly on painted surfaces to protect the item. Their inventory sheet proved to be incomplete and they left items (a remote control I specifically asked to be wrapped with my TV) behind.    Storage/In Transit Communication with All Services Movers after the pick up of my belongings was extremely poor. I had to call several times, was frequently placed on hold and found representatives to be rude and not helpful. Storage costs were not well communicated and I was overcharged for storing my belongings. Finally, I have a message saved stating my items would be delivered between the 18th and 21st of January. The delivery did not take place until Friday the 23.   Delivery After waiting for two extra days, I was eager for the delivery of my items so I could move in and get settled. However, upon seeing the condition of my belongings I was literally sick to my stomach. My first encounter with the delivery team (lead by Alex) was offensive. He was extremely rude and charged me an extra 40$ on the spot because the elevator was not up to par. I reluctantly agreed and paid the extra amount in cash. Their demeanor was aggressive and rude. As the team started to carry my belongings in, I was immediately surprised at the terrible condition some of the boxes arrived in. Items were literally coming out of the boxes and the driver joked that he could hear the rattling of broken glass inside of them. He acted as if this were some sort of joke and did not even offer an apology on part of his team or on behalf of the company. My lamp (wrapped in bubble warp and blankets) was completely bent at the top. My coffee table has severe gouges in the wood due to poor handling. Part of my bed was missing completely and still has not been found. As expected by the condition of the boxes, many of the items inside were broken. .
