   Sub-par service and patronizing attitude.

   This is my fourth long-distance move, but the first time I used this company. In comparison to other movers, the service was sub-par. If you use this company, you should be aware that they will provide less than 48 hours notice of your actual pick-up date within the given range. The office manager will most likely be unwilling to accommodate your time constraints (work schedule) when assigning pick-up times. The loading estimate includes only three hours for loading (although it does not say so anywhere on the paperwork), so if you are not ready when they arrive, even after such short notice, you pay more. You may not be made aware of this, but on long-distance moves, the delivery costs will be automatically charged to the credit card used for pick-up 2 days in advance of the delivery date. If you want to use a different form of payment for delivery, you need to say this at the time of pick-up since they will not let you change later. You should also carefully check all of their paperwork for mistakes in the pricing..on my move the delivery charges were off by several hundred dollars because the bill of service initially "forgot" to factor in the "special discount" I had unknowling received on the estimate, I.e. they use variable pricing scales but none of this will be transparent to you. Finally, add-on costs (fuel surcharge, packaging) will not be mentioned in your estimate.
