   Disappointing.

   Seemed responsive enough initially but after some damage was caused to two pieces of furniture (I ignored the breakage of a few glass items) I was very disappointed by their response to the damage caused to the piano: a paltry sum offered and then - prompting this review - even not paid! I will let you know if it ever is paid but they are not replying to my e mails at the moment. So unnecessary.

   Dreadful movers. Avoid.

   Our experience of Arclite has been dreadful. They have damaged almost every single piece of furniture that we own and after a smooth salesy start from the owner, they have now abandoned any responsibility and left us to deal with their insurer. The policy they have in place is not adequate and we have been offered around a third of the value of what it will cost us to replace our belongings. This is two months after our move. We will not be able to replace anything, including the brand new nursery furniture we had for our new baby which has been very badly damaged and is unsafe for a baby to lie on. This particular furniture was only two months old. None of our furniture was wrapped or protected so a sofa was ripped, wooden furniture dented, scratched and holes smashed into drawers. Items that were stored and not smashed were delivered damp and muddy. We have used lots of other movers in the past and never have we been let down like this. Even their employees told us how bad the service is now - that is quite indicative of how a business is run. Find another service if you are able.
