    Thankful.

I hired this company to move my home. I called 2 weeks prior to my move, and had done my research on several different companies. I have to say I was very overwhelmed since there were so many when I did a search on the internet. So I asked around to co-workers, friends, and family. I narrowed it down to 3 to 4 moving companies. I decided to go to the Better Business Bureau, and check out each company, after calling each one I decided to use Arizona Discount Movers. I felt comfortable talking to Jay, and I felt very confident I had made a smart choice. So I wasn't surprised the day of the move when my 3 movers showed up and made a very stressful day a lot less stressful. The price was fair and the service way more than I expected. Thank you Az Discount Movers, and thanks to my movers.

    Response from Arizona Discount Movers

Thank you Arizona Discount Movers.

    No Move Is Perfect

The movers did a good job and I had a lot to move. So far, I haven't found a couple of pairs of shoes but that's it. The price was a little high I thought, but I don't move very much. I would use them again.

    Dishonest company

"My experience with this moving company has been nothing short of a nightmare. Despite being promised a refund for the outrageous charges, I've been met with nothing but delays and unprofessional behavior from the owner and management. I was initially quoted for a 2-hour minimum, but the movers took nearly 4 hours and then tried to charge me over double the quoted amount. When I questioned the discrepancy, I was told it was because of weekend rates, which were never mentioned beforehand. Despite assurances from Stephanie in the office that the overcharge would be corrected, it's been almost 3 weeks and I still haven't seen a refund. Every time I call, I'm given the runaround or told it should have been refunded already. The lack of communication and accountability from this company is astounding. Adding insult to injury, the response from the owner and management to my concerns has been dismissive and unprofessional. They completely ignored my explanations and attempted to discredit my valid complaints. It's clear they didn't even bother to review the details of my case before responding. Furthermore, I've noticed a suspicious pattern of fake positive reviews popping up right after negative ones, which only adds to my frustration and distrust. It's evident they're more concerned with burying negative feedback than addressing legitimate issues. At this point, I'm considering taking legal action because it's clear this company has no intention of honoring their refund policy. It's incredibly frustrating to be treated this way after being a paying customer. I urge others to think twice before using their services and to beware of their shady business practices."

updated response; please quit having family members and friends write fake reviews on our company profile. This customer has turned out to be a nightmare for our company. we do not have fake reviews. She is having her friends and family members write negative fake reviews on our profile unfortunately over the years you learn to deal with unhinged customers like this.. we’re already working with Google to have these removed due to the fact that they are fake negative reviews being written. After reviewing her profile, I found out that we are not the only company that she has harassed and threatened by having family members and friends write fake reviews on their profiles as well. This all started because we moved her from her home, and our Mover did an honest math mistake on her bill, we notified her the same day to correct it and we had mentioned to her that it could take 3 to 4 weeks for processing the refund depending on her bank and our merchant service processing time. we offered to send her a check to get it to her at a quicker pace, and she denied us to do that. It’s been not quite three weeks and she got extremely upset and decided to go online and write reviews on our business as well as harass our company and also encourage family and friends to write fake reviews on our company profile. We do hundreds and hundreds of moves per month and we have a lot of happy customers who write reviews on an every day basis on our company profile giving us five star reviews she accuses us of having fake reviews because of that reason the ironic thing is she’s the one having family members and friends right fake reviews on our company profile. We flagged these reviews and we’ve asked her to stop doing this. We do our best to try to resolve each and every customer complaint and have tried doing that with this customer as well. Because she did not get or hear what she wanted. Unfortunately, this caused her to become extremely upset and decide to harass our company. Her credit should be completed by the end of this week and I’m hoping that she will quit harassing our company and not keep encouraging her family and friends to write fake bad reviews on our profile.

    Offensive and poor customer service

Their employee hung up on me and the corporate office emailed with justification for the behavior. I called for a QUOTE on April 7th and spoke with Stephanie. I was just getting a quote. We exchanged email twice. Their quote was not the lowest so I selected someone else. Today I get a call from Stephanie (speaking very harsh and rude) telling me that I needed to pay the deposit for my move. I was so confused because I had not signed a contract or confirmed a date. She then rudely told me she had held the day and other had wanted it. I am still confused. We had not spoken since 4/17 for a QUOTE. I informed her that I had hired another company. She then hung up on me! I wrote and reply to her explaining that was not the best customer service. The corporate office relied back as follows: :We appreciate your feedback, Stefanie is the General Manager of our company. She has been for the last 8 years; she has been complimented on how patient and kind she is on the phone. You stated that you would call back to pay your deposit. You also emailed giving us a date, we put you on our schedule board, and held that date for you. Only for you to cancel, and never have the courtesy to call us to let us know that you already booked with another company, although you booked with us. We turned down other customers that wanted that spot and were more than willing to pay the deposit. But instead, Stefanie kindly held onto that day and time as promised that you were going to call back and pay the deposit. We understand that things do happen, but courtesy goes both ways. We wish you the best. Thank you, Respectfully, AZDM"

    Response from Arizona Discount Movers

Update: This reviewer has taken the time to write reviews everywhere. We only wish she would have put in the same time and effort to reach us to cancel her scheduled move date. But she did not. Instead she put the blame on our company. Our employee did not hang up. We have the recorded conversation to prove that. This customer called our business and adamantly wanted to book a move date. She did book a move with us because we gave her a job number got all of her details and addresses, and we have the recorded conversation of her stating that she was booked and that she was going to call back to pay her deposit. So for her to say that she never booked with our company is not true. With every move scheduled we do have to get a deposit to hold the date for the move. We explained this customer that we would need to get the deposit before booking her move. She stated “that she did not have the money at the time”and that she would pay it closer to the move date. We explained that we’d have to have the deposit at least a week prior, and our general manager Stefanie was kind enough to book the customer without a deposit. Upon her agreement that she would pay the deposit a week prior to the move date. Three days prior to her move date, we noticed that she had not called to pay her deposit. We proceeded to call her to get the deposit for her move, only for her to tell us that she has gone with another company. We had proceeded to tell her that we would have appreciate it if she would’ve called us to let us know that she went with another company, therefore we would’ve taken her off our schedule. Since several other customers had called and wanted that spot, and we’re more than willing to put a deposit down that day. So we were kind enough to hold her move, only for her to not cancel her move date, and to never call us to make us aware that she went with another company. In the conversation we were extremely professional, patient and we’re never rude. We have the recorded conversations to prove that. She said she was upset because when we hung up with her we had stated thank you and goodbye. She said that we did not wait for her to respond so if she considers that rude and us hanging up on her. She took plenty of time out of her day to write several reviews on several different review sites, but we find it interesting that she couldn’t take three minutes to call us to cancel her move that we had held for her for over two weeks. We do wish her the best.

    They Stole.

6 men and 3 trucks came to move my belongings less then 30 miles. And they took two 5 gal jugs of money, rolled coins and change. The company has done nothing but give me one story after another on what happened, but the bottom line is they walked away with at least $3500.00 of my money, and NOTHING has been done about it!!

    Response from Arizona Discount Movers

We don't steal. The police did an full investigation into this matter. They found no wrong doing, and we were not charged with any crime. We have been in the valley for 44 years, and have held an A plus rating the entire time.

    Disappointing Experience.

This was a stressful and ugly experience. Movers were 3 hours late and complaining the entire 8 hours of the move. They made so many comments about our stuff or that things actually needed to be moved upstairs!! They expressed the dissatisfaction of doing our job and made us uncomfortable the entire time. They were careless with our things and ended up cracking our 55” TV. Managed poorly by upper management and owner would not be bothered with my requests to talk over my experience with her company. The website says they value customer service but they don’t! I can only refer people to STAY AWAY from this company. Very disappointing experience and it took 35 days from the move to any kind of resolution. The offer was an insult and extremely dissatisfied with the whole situation.

    Stolen Items.

After the move I went looking for one of my guns, its missing, tried to find my PS3, its missing, looking back its easy to see how they distracted us enough, they seem to be really interested in something you own and start up a conversation about it, while the others RIP you OFF. Contacting the company went no where, BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY, and find someone else.

    Response from Arizona Discount Movers

There is no proof in any accusations being made by this customer. The police have not even called one time to inquire about this.. Unfortunately the movers are the first to be blamed, which is not always the case!! for the customer to say they are already pulling fingerprints off the plastic is far fetched to say the least. I take theft very seriously, also I already stated that we pulled up the tracking on our truck that day. Our movers didn't take an hour and a half to drive to the destination, another lie! All our movers know that we have a GPS tracking device on aour entire fleet they are aware I know their every move while driving our trucks. If your not familiar with Fleetmatics and how very detailed it is then I suggest going to google and pulling up Fleetmatics reveal and it will teach you James! We can prove it with Fleetmatics reports, which shows when the truck is driving, idling and for how long and if the engined had been turned off. It is extremely detailed. Also the only items this customer reported missing was a AK-47 and a game console which he reported missing 2 to 2 1/2 weeks after his move took place. So the statement being me that several other articles are missing is a fabrication this is just lies. First of all Federal motor carrier does not allow our company as well as any other moving companies to move firearms we did not have access to these firearms during the move they were all located in one room according to the movers in boxes. We did not pack this customer we moved only furniture and closed boxes that were packed by the customer . We have no clue what was in those boxes during transport because we did not pack those boxes. According to this customer this was an estate move of a sibling of his that was a gun collector and when the movers were there the gentleman was selling these guns on eBay as well as several other items. Out of the several and several guns that were located in this home I do not believe an AK-47 would just be picked up and moved out of the home without being seen first of all. I told the customer to call the police and make a police report. We are still to this day have not heard from any police officer or detective concerning the loss of this AK-47 or this supposedly loss of this game machine that supposedly was boxed up by the customer we have no access to boxed items they were already packed by the customer himself. Not only that but before we booked this customer we made him very aware that we are not responsible or allowed to move firearms ammo anything of that kind he signed a waiver and release stating that he was aware of this and he was to transport and move those items himself. Again there's no proof that any of our movers were involved in this missing AK-47 which by the way the customer admit himself that these guns were in the origin address for 2 weeks by themselves after the move itself. This customer did not call us until 2 weeks after the move took place. A lot can happen in 2 weeks. We also made the customer aware that all of our trucks are on satellite and also we have cameras in our lot so when the movers pull up into that lot they are on recording we were able to do a report that the movers did not stop anywhere in the truck on the way to the shop after the move we also have footage of them getting out of their trucks and they did not have an AK-47 on there being on the video. We also made the customer aware that all of our trucks are on satellite and also we have cameras in our back lot so when the movers pull up into that lot they are on recording we were able to do a report that the movers did not stop anywhere in the truck on the way to the shop after the move we also have footage of them getting out of their trucks and they did not have an AK-47 on there being on the video. I am I am pretty confident that our movers did not steal this AK-47 handgun. Like I said we are waiting for this customer to still make a police report so that we can fully cooperate in an investigation to prove that our movers were not involved in this. we hope the customer ends up finding out where this gun went.

    Nightmare.

This was the worst move I have ever had, thanks to Arizona Discount movers. First, they were supposed to show up between 2pm and 4pm and they arrived at 5:30pm. Next one of the movers told me the wrong price and started to argue with me when I told him that I was quoted a different price. I then had to call the company and they honored what I was originally quoted. I told the mover this and he told me that my ONE Bedroom apartment was going to take them 7-8 hours to move and that they had been moving people all day, were tired and quite frankly moving me was a "giant pain in the [EDIT]". I immediately called his manager who called the mover and then lowered the price by $5. The mover then said"maybe if you call again and tell them that we are a bunch of [EDIT], they will give you the move for free". They then proceeded to tell my boyfriend that he needed to help(I think this is what we hired them for, so we did not have to move everything ourselves). Well they were so slow, that my boyfriend and neighbor started taking things in my boyfriends truck. Did I mention the move was from one apartment to another in the same complex? They filled half the truck which could have fit my whole apartment, took twenty minutes to drive to the other side of the complex and then went back to fill up the rest. It took them SIX hours with the help we gave them. The company discounted me 30%, but by my calculations it should have been 50% because they sent two guys and we had to help. To add insult to injury, the next day when we went back to the old apartment the movers had not moved everything and they put my bed frame together wrong. In addition I had labeled the boxes and figured they would be placed in the room which was labeled on the box, the movers piled all of the boxes in one room! Moving is stressful enough, STAY AWAY from this company.

    Response from Arizona Discount Movers

We did all we could do to make this customer happy. We lowered her rate several times, and ended up even refunding more money back to her. We have done what is right.
