   Horrible experience

   If I could give zero stars, I would. We were assigned Ciao Bella Moving by Safe Ship Moving for our cross country move. I wish we would have done more research regarding both Safe Ship Moving and Ciao Bella Moving prior to our move. Unfortunately, the advertisement by Safe Ship Moving of being veteran owned drew us in. Ciao Bella Moving showed up for our move with 1 truck and 1 worker. After our goods were literally thrown in the rented Penske trucks (another truck and more workers showed up later in the day), we found out that the hired help that were packing our goods were hired hands for the day (most with ZERO moving experience). Our goods were then sent to storage--something we were told on the day if pick up--not prior by Ciao Bella Moving or Safe Ship Moving. We finally were able to get our goods over a month and a few weeks later. Safe ship moving's customer service regarding our goods was non-existent. Ciao Bella Moving cannot be reaching by the 1-800 number on their website. They also only take payments via Zelle, cashier's check, or money order (HUGE red flag). The kicker in all of this is on the day of delivery, we were extorted for an additional $1500 for "shuttle fees" to have our goods delivered from an 18 wheeler that was parked 30 minutes away from our home to our home. I have read numerous reviews and Ciao Bella Moving has an extortion racket going for "shuttle fees". Basically you pay, or you don't see your goods. Long story short, our goods arrived after we paid the exorbitant "shuttle fee." A LOT of our goods were broken, dressers destroyed, and cardboard boxes completely crushed. Not to mention plastic containers that were crushed. It seems like most of our goods made the cross-country trip--just not in one piece! I would NOT advise using Ciao Bella Moving (company is based in Norwalk, CA--their LLC is out of Largo, FL). Please save yourself some trouble and don't use Ciao Bella Moving.
