   HAD to move a sofa from Cowes to Ryde via balcony and van roof!

   I bought a sofa from a stroppy woman in Cowes. She wouldn't let Cowes movers take it down the stairs so they lifted on to their van roof and moved it from there! And did it on a Sunday. Great stuff. Not easy job by any means to get the sofa onto the roof and off again.

   Full of regrets

   - inconsistant with dates - very stressful - lost my box and offered £5 (valued £175), then blamed me for helping - unprofessional They were the first company I called and decided to go through with their instant quote, however little did I know I would come to regret this decision. There were several things that went wrong that made the whole process significantly stressful. They had changed the initial agreed date to either the next day or a date 2 weeks away (which was not possible). I had to pack my 2 bedroom apartment in less than 24 hours by myself, they then came and decided it was too much and too heavy for them and said they would come to the original date after all, which didn’t make sense since they were the ones that cancelled in the first place. They changed the price (which was fine by me and I even offered to pay more). I was very stressed as I didn't receive a confirmation text, email, or call until the day of pickup. (5 hours before he was going to come).I almost cancelled my ferry ticket and was trying to rearrange different transporters because I thought they were going to be a no show). To top it all off - they've lost one of my boxes. I know exactly the number of boxes that were transported (because I had made a list for myself), however although it was their job, they had no idea what/ how many boxes were picked up and left off (even though he claimed he did and claimed it was back at the office). He had no NUMBERS!! Finally, he refused to take any responsibility, and therefore would not file for insurance. He then offered to pay £5 to cover for a box containing items worth up to £175. He also had the audacity to blame me for helping him load the van (he came by himself and of course I offered to help, which he eagerly accepted). Initially, I thought they were just busy and gave them the benefit of doubt, but I've come to realise that this is how the company is being run. AVOID this company, it's a total lie that the items are insured and it's honestly a total MESS!!! All they've left me with is regret that I ever chose them in the first place.
