   They were 5 hours late, damaged several items including expensive furniture and are now non-responsive to calls and emails. Avoid this moving company!!

   Worst mover ever - not trustworthy.

   The worst experience ever. I’ve moved many times; corporate cross country moves and personal local moves. I’ve never experienced anything this bad. Up until the day of the move, everything seemed fine. Towards the end of the move, the crew could be heard saying they needed to get to another job and started getting careless. Then the real reason I would never recommend them occurred. There was breakage and damage to my home from the move. Unfortunately, I always expect some. I contacted Culmer for their process for submitting a claim and followed their procedures. The initial response to the claimed items was to reject a number of the items and indicate that they had 30 days to respond to all the items. 30 days came and went. Despite many calls and emails, that was the last real information I ever received. The response to my calls was “the owner is the only person who can handle this.” I was told they’d have him call many times. He never has. They did contact us a couple of days after the move to say they found a box that was ours and still in their possession. After several more days they left it at our door. It was not ours. We informed them immediately. 4 months have gone by and they don’t even care enough for their customers to pick it up and get it to the rightful owner. This is the most unprofessional organization I’ve ever dealt with.
