   SOOO easy with Easy Movers!

   Contracted this company for a move of a holiday weekend. I packed my own boxes and they did all the heavy lifting. We packed one day and closed on the new house and moved two days later. It was 92 degrees on load day and 94 degrees on unload day. We filled TWO 26' trucks. A team of 4 did all the work and it was so nice to have professionals (instead of unprofessionals or friends) complete this move for us. We had a lotta stuff, I didn't hear any complaints and I felt comfortable with everyone from Easy Movers. The office staff was great in helping me with paperwork and my quote was the final price. And, in the end, we had no breakage, scratches or trouble. I would use this company again!

   Rude front office.

   On the day of my move I called the company because they were late in arriving. I was told that I had given the two different days for my move and that they were not due until the next day. However I had paper work from them dated a month previously that clearly stated the correct date for my move. Without any apology they said they would see what they could do and eventually did get me moved that day. I found out a few weeks later that they had told a friend of mine, who was also moving, that she shouldn't worry because the fault had been all mine. BAD business! There never was an apology.

   Very very bad move.

   Our move was horrible. Broken and scratched furniture..broken irreplaceable pottery..lost box spring..and yet it was our fault because we packed things badly. Even if that were true a box that is labeled glass and is both punctured and crushed contents wouldn't have survived no matter how it was packed. A wooden leg was broken off of a chair. Did I mention a lost box spring..and it was never found. Make your own judgement.

   Beware of Easy Movers in Reisterstown, MD.

   We used Easy Movers of Reisterstown/Glyndon, MD to pack, store and move all of our belongings. During the packing process I noticed that $150 was missing from my wallet and over $15,000 worth of jewelry was also missing! I called the police and they ended up recovering all of my items. It turned out that the 24 year old son of the moving company owner had stolen the items while he was packing us up and sold them to a local high end jewelry store that had the son on video surveillance and also had a copy of his drivers licence from when he sold my items to the store. The son was convicted of the crime and I did receive all of my items back. I was very lucky the police and my insurance company told me. According to the moving company owner he said his son is a heroin addict and he knowingly put him in our house which was so incredibly negligent. My items were well hidden and not part of the items that they were packing so the son went searching for items while I was in another part of the house. We also had some parts missing and broken during the moving process. I am just glad to be finished with this company. We also did not receive any discount for the move. We actually paid a little more than what was quoted. I just wanted to warn everyone to beware of Easy Movers because I certainly regret it.
