   Seamless moving services.

   We contact Paul Gentil and he made the move very seamless and easy. The quote they gave us was below what it actually costed us which was an added bonus. The movers were very courteous and nice to my and my wife and help make the moving process very simple and efficient they quoted us 6 hours and we figured it would take more since it was raining that day. But they we re fast and efficient and helped us move within 4.5 hours. I am very glad we chose them and would like to recommend them to everyone.

   I hired Gentil Moving Service to move two apartments  from Brooklyn  to Huntington New York. Having valuable pieces of furniture Mr. Gentil sold me $95,000 worth of "INSURANCE".  When I filed a claim for $7175 in damages..several antiques were broken and severly damaged, Mr Gentil said he would be coming to inspect damages. I asked what INSURANCE COMPANY he was using to insure my possessions he answered "MOVERS CHOICE" He came and saw the damages himself. A week later I received a letter saying that if I sent him a check for $500 ( my deductible ) he would  pick up the broken pieces ( now greatly reduced in value ) and have  "HIS UPHOLSTER AND CRAFTSMAN " try to fix them as best they could. Again I asked for some proof that I did actually buy real insurance  but he refused to show me anything. I am 66 yrs old and have purchased many many insurance policies. This time I was misled..I paid for a "FAKE" insurance policy when all I got was his wanting  the $500 deductible to pay his associates to try and do the repairs! Also, I paid close to $10,000 for the move and paid him to pack the boxes. ALL of the boxes were filled with mostly paper and two or three items..and at a minimum of $45 per box..about 100 boxes was a big rip off.  I did not know I had to supervise the packing in order not to be ripped off. Also several valuable items were missing..But how do you know they are missing unless you unpack EVERY BOX while the movers WAIT?? IMPOSSIBLE.. so I signed the release and Mr Gentil has NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE MISSING ITEMS.. Gentil Moveing Services are disreputable..they are not good movers and do not provide real insurance but "sell insurance policies" BEWARE  .
