   Wonderful Service!

   Jake's Moving and Storage did a phenomenal job- we could not have been more pleased! The coordination prior to the move was well-planned, and our movers arrived early. Despite several flights of stairs, they operated quickly and efficiently to get us moved in to our townhouse. We cannot thank them enough for all of the work they did, and would gladly hire them again. Thank you all!

   Very Local Move - from 3rd floor to patio

   General Manager sold me on the phone, taking the time to assess needs before recommending four movers for the job. The move, which included a spinet piano, was accomplished in two hours (one less than the estimate), with the movers getting right to it. They were great.

   I had to set up a move on short notice. It was easy to set up a time that worked for me. They were on time, courteous, and efficient. They wrapped everything including delicate stained glass lamps. Everything arrived unbroken. Thank you for your help.

   Every time I have used Jake's M&S, I always receive excellent service...ranging from John in the office to the movers who perform the job. I have used Jake's M&S for 3 different moves. I keep going back to them because of the care that show when moving my furniture. I highly recommend them for all your moving needs.

   Jake's Moving and Storage was excellent! I was moving out of state and needed a company to pack all of my heavy/large furniture and load it into Uhaul trucks. I hired a 3 person team. They arrived on time and followed all of my instructions. They were very professional and extremely nice. They had a positive attitude and were friendly and upbeat the entire time! They wrapped and moved my extremely heavy antique wood furniture without an issue. Very impressive. They made the process stress-free. I also had them carry about 150 heavy boxes up from my basement and load them into a truck. They were quick and efficient. They followed all of my instructions about keeping certain boxes upright, not stacking things on certain boxes, etc. Upon unloading/unpacking (after driving everything 400 miles away) I was very pleased to discover nothing had broken! This company is excellent! If you want friendly and professional movers, this is the company!

   I've moved a couple times the past couple of years. Jakes Moving was the best company I have used. They were prepared for my big item. Other companies quoted more to move my big item than Jakes charged for the entire move. The estimate was right on so there were no surprises at the end. The crew worked hard and efficiently. The time did not go over. They were very professional and protected my goods. They were also very friendly.

   They were great and quick!

   They came in and packed everything up really quick! They were so nice and efficient. Only thing I didn't like was when they came to the new house, they unpacked so quickly that they didn't get everything where we wanted and one thing didn't get unwrapped. Speed is great but sometimes you need to slow down a little to be fully efficient. I am using them again!!

    Cannot recommend them! After about an hour on the phone and even providing room/ house pictures to the estimator, I can only assume they intentionally underbid the move to get my business and then charged me way more (in my case double) on the day. They require cash or bank check the day of services but since they were totally wrong in their estimate, we did not have the cash so they also charged us a 5% service charge to pay by credit card. Interesting, as to the unpacking, we dismissed the guys earlier saying we would do the majority of the unpacking ourselves but there was no savings or discount as now it was a flat fee, not hourly for the unpacking, only the packing end. Several items were damaged in the move but the worse was that their packers thought it was ok to stack in one box artwork/pictures without anything in between - no protection as backs of frames sat rubbing on fronts of other pieces causing damage. When I brought this to management's attention, they were rude and were all to happy to inform me that their liability was capped at $50 and I should have gotten extra insurance (read their fine print). They have no incentive to use more and proper packing materials since that cuts into their profit and since they do not have to worry about much liability. I am very unhappy.
