   Ideal, flexible service.

   Matthew and Nelson went above and beyond. Their work was careful, safe, and professional, AND they managed to maintain this level of service even in the face of unforeseen obstacles. We got to my move-in location and my key didn't work. They waited 30-40 minutes with me until my roommate showed up to let us in. They were friendly and understanding the whole time. It was truly a relief to know that they were helping me. They made a stressful situation a lot less stressful. Can't recommend highly enough!! Thank you, guys!

   Mover...did not show up

   On the day of the move. Katz Moving just did not show up despite a 25% deposit, a signed contract and a move discussed with Dominic Kostic of Katz. My 8-year old sons and I found ourselves all packed up with no plan B for what felt the longest day. They refunded the deposit to avoid the cops, explained that a staff had not showed up and offered to reschedule one week later. By then we had made arrangements and when we asked Katz to activate their insurance to cover the consequential damages (extended lease, last minute move and other costs), they just ghosted. Jon and Yuliana Katz have left the business to settle in Israel, while Dominic Kostic (not his real name either), Bjorn Katz and Jermaine Charles are untrustworthy.

   Katz Moving - Terrible Experience - Stay Away!

   DO NOT USE KATZ MOVING! Katz Moving deserves NO stars. We believe they are a group of scam artists. They packed and moved our house summer of 2019. They have zero finesse - stuffing things willy nilly into any container they can find. Then upon unpacking at our new home, we discovered numerous damaged furniture and items…plus one of our TV’s was MISSING! At first the owner, Jon Katz, responded promising to compensate us. But after the niceties, he disappeared. Then we got the runaround from Dominic, Bjorn and Jermaine. They claimed Jon was out of the country and is no longer running the company. We filled a lawsuit, but they have no legal address so the suit was dismissed. Then they promised us a gift cards for $1,000 (much less than what was broken/lost, but we figured we’d ask for something they could handle) - Bjorn swore he mailed it out to us. Nine days later…nothing. Then after more phone calls and texts, he finally took a picture of 2 AmEx gift cards, but we couldn’t get those cards to work. For some reason they then canceled those cards. Neither Bjorn nor Jermaine will answer a phone call. Our opinion is that these guys are not only careless and incompetent, they are also evasive and duplicitous. Our only recourse is to warn you all about using them. Katz Moving is a disaster, mostly because, we believe, they cannot be trusted. Pony up a little more money and get a more reputable company - there are so many out there. STAY AWAY FROM Katz Moving!

   Katz Moving are the worst - DON'T USE THEM!

   If I could give zero stars I would. Slapdash, crooked company gives lowball estimate to get job, then couldn't care less about you or your items. Their "packing" service is a bunch of guys stuffing anything they can find into any box they can find. Then they cram it all without care into one of their trucks - up to the gills. Summer of 2019 I had numerous damaged items and an entire TV IS MISSING! Worst of all, the oily owner promised to send someone out to look at my damage..nothing. Then he apparently flew out of the country and can't be reached. Trust me - he can't be reached. You'll get ahold of Jimmy Hoffa before you ever speak to Jon Katz. I've had the runaround for months by possible employees saying whatever they have to to prolong this. I filed a small claim for $3,000, but my court date was canceled (on the day I showed up) b/c I was told that the address on their website is not correct. They only have a P.O. Box, which is unacceptable for a small claims suit. 6 months after my move, I finally got funneled to someone who at lest responds to me routinely. This man promised he mailed me a thousand dollar gift card 8 days ago..nothing in the mail yet. Today he promised to send me another gift card by certified mail. (Doobies singing: Only fools believe..) If you want to go through all of the above..hire away! Otherwise, pay a bit more and get someone reputable..or even disreputable -- that would still be better than Katz Moving. Here's the major headline: KATZ MOVING ARE THE WORST AND JON KATZ IS A SCAMMER (Jon you know who I am and you have my # - how about giving me a call and we can discuss this?).
