   Employee stole a lot of things.

   We hired Ron Fulmer and his company Movers and Groovers in 2015, and during our move one of his employees stole close to $10,000 in jewelry and family heirlooms; this employee methodically selected and pocketed more than a dozen items from two houses and kept a box on the truck from being delivered. (Witnesses at a local pawn shop verified seeing pieces of our missing jewelry after being shown pictures.) This employee is a repeat offender with an extensive criminal record. Movers and Groovers was irresponsible and negligent in hiring him and giving him access to our homes. Throughout our ordeal, Ron Fulmer was dismissive, uncooperative, and ultimately unresponsive. He denied responsibility, telling us he’d told the employee not to steal anything! We submitted his company’s insurance claim form - twice, by certified mail - but they came back to us unclaimed and unacknowledged by him or Movers and Groovers. This is a case of gross negligence so we sued Ron Fulmer and Movers and Groovers. We won a judgement, which has been recorded with the Charleston County Clerk of Court as well as the Charleston County Sheriff’s office. It is one of three judgements currently on file against Movers and Groovers.
