   Run away from this company!

   If I could rate them a -5 I would! They were horrible to work with, and delivered 70 days late. They gave excuse after excuse. They even said no trucks go to WY (even though it is in the center of the country and a main thoroughfare for shipping!) They charged us $4000 more than originally planned. (And that was after the $1700 "credit" they gave us for late fees and packing) They packed 1 truck horribly so it would take up more space & could charge more. We even had to help pack the trucks! When the driver arrive alone he told us to call our friends to help. Unbelievable! My husband and 85-yr-old father ended up helping pack the trucks. They don't communicate. Unfortunately they were subcontracted through New Leaf Moving Group, so I had no control. If you have any choice, don't use North Side Van Lines for anything!

   I would rate this joke of a moving company with a less than 0 if possible. North Side Van Lines, Hassan Barghouth, 100 Hollister Rd, Teterboro, NJ 07608 813-640-7161 Hired through broker New Leaf Moving Grp. (Another joke) Mover violated contract by not arriving on pick up date or even in pick up window. Inflated cost to over $10,000 for less than 1000 cu ft that was already professionally packed, wrapped and padded!!! Most furniture items were sold after the sale of my home. Items were in a clean, dry storage unit. Since they didn't arrive when stated, I had to start the cross country journey in my vehicle prior to their late arrival. They would not deliver items until an illegible and doctored copy of the bill of Lading was signed days after they picked up and held somewhere Poor communication, would not respond to calls. Delivered 29 days later which further violates contract. Items were damaged, broken and filthy. Forced to pay cash before unloading. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Complaints filed with agencies and legal counsel has been sought.
