   Unreliable & Extremly Unprofessional.

   Raven Movers was recommended by a trusted colleague. I contaced them 1 1/2 months before the move and was quoted a price of $460 for 2 movers/4 hours. The moving date and cost was confirmed by phone and via email. Long story short, after that email, they never contacted me again. I emailed them several times which they didn't respond too. I called them 2 weeks before the move to confirm the details. They confirmed and said someone would call the day before. The day before -no one called. in a panic I spent 2 hours attempting to reach the office using both numbers listed - the numbers did not even dial through, they have no voice mail or answering machine (or any staff apparently). Finally having reached MacArthur Gardner, the original person I spoke with, I was told that everything was set. The morning of the move I called 1 1/2 hours before the move and was told the truck would be there between 9 - 9:30am. The truck NEVER showed up. I spent the next two hours desperately trying t reach them, but no one picked up. I had to call around for another last minute mover (in 95 degree weather). The move was a horrible nightmare that resulted in a higher cost and damaged stuff (they used a Penske truck & 2 laborers). Even though they never followed up on my booking I stayed with them because my colleague had warned me that they were 'flaky' but good. Use them at your own peril.
