   Exagerated Price, Lack of Professionalism.

   I was over charged for a move of a 2 bedroom apt. The same work was done 1 and 1/2yr ago and the other company took 6 1/2hrs to do it. This Reliable Movers took 12.75 hrs. One guy the owner was constantly on his cell. Saw his butt crack all day. Appliances, wall and door trims were damaged. Boxes were crushed and upside down therefore items were damages, a pile to be sorted out! They took dressers and drawer combined as one unit from starting place and brought it to the next place as dressers no drawers, drawers were brought in one or two at a time. Even stove drawer was removed to make sure to add time to their hourly charged. They tried to get an upright freezer into a room. They had NO COMMON SENSE and after 1/2 hr of watching this I told them to leave it in living room. I and my brother moved it EASILY the next day without any issues. The owner had two very minor cuts and blood was dropped on the floor and he did nothing to clean the mess up. They are not professionals at all. They are in for the $$ and they made sure to take advantage that I am a single, 60+ woman. I couldn't not complain until everything was done. The owner after showing the issue of the damages and time it took, made no effort to cut the price down to a reasonable amount. One move from A to B = $1800.00. RIDICULOUS.

   Damage Control.

   The movers arrived close to when they promised, and the crew worked hard (we bought them lunch and dinner).  Several items were damaged, the worst being deep gouges in a dresser.  Fortunately, we noticed it before the move was complete, and we told the crew.  They admitted that the damage happened during the move (my wife overheard one telling the other that they should not tell the consumer if damage happens), and the damage was noted on the paperwork. We called the moving company the next day, and a mutual time was determined for them to review the damage, but they never showed up. Three additional times, I tried to get them to come out, and (again) they never showed.  Only once (after my insistance) did they ever call ahead of time. It is obvious that they have no desire to deal with any claims.  This business has no integrity or honesty. We will warn everyone we can in any way we can to avoid using his company.
