   Never Ever Use Southeast Van Lines!!

   Wish I had an option to give 0 starts. Delivery came in after 20 days. They broke my microwave, tea table, tv stand. Charged 300 for shuttle which they never used and not required as well. Never deal with a person named Ben. He promised something and delivered something else. When called to get it clarified, he said that he is doing a favor to me by talking to me over phone. Completely unprofessional. Irresponsible. careless. try some other company if you need to have peace of mind during your move and to safeguard your items. NEVER EVER USE SOUTHEAST VAN LINES!!

   Don't Believe The Positive Reviews!

   I regret ever doing business with Southeast Van Lines. I received my belongings a month late, and damaged from a fire. They have been of absolutely no help through the process, and do not provide an acceptable level of insurance for your belongings nor inform you of your other options. They contracted my move out to an inexperienced, and unprofessional older gentleman to move my things from GA to CA, with him consistently lying to me about when they would arrive and the shape they were in. When he finally got here, he recruited another middle-aged man who lived in my neighborhood (!) to help unload as he had no legitimate crew of his own to help. Now Southeast Van Lines is denying any responsibility, and forcing me to go through this other man's insurance despite the fact that THEY were the one's who hired him!DO NOT USE SOUTHEAST VAN LINES FOR YOUR MOVE! This process has been an ongoing nightmare and I regret ever doing business with them. It's been 7 MONTHS and I am still trying to reach a settlement with this guy's insurance.

   Many moves and this was horrible.

   Don't use this company. We have moved many times and used very good movers. This move was a disaster. We had many broken items because my China hutch items were simply thrown in a box. Items broken that can't be replaced. We had items which did not belong to us. We were also missing items. The movers were 2.5 hours late to the destination and hurried to move things in while not asking and placing items where they did not belong. Some of the guys were rude. We filed a claim for damages and replacement for thousands of dollars worth of items only to receive a check for less than $150.00. Complete and total nightmare.

   Worst Move Ever.

   While researching movers for our move from Atlanta to Denver, the reviews for Southeast Van Lines were very favorable.  Having selected them and going through the move our experience is that those reviews are pure fiction.   Though they talk about the care they use in wrapping and protecting the furniture, in reality their methods did not work – numerous pieces had dents and the finish rubbed or marred.  More importantly, the carrier they contracted to do the actual interstate carriage was careless and very unprofessional; missing appointment times, being rude to us and the neighbors, using untrained, pick-up help to unload and not using due care to handle the furniture.  The result was that we suffered literally thousands of dollars of damage to our furniture and our new home.   Unfortunately, despite all their words about quality and professionalism, Southeast Van Lines would not accept accountability for the very poor quality move.  So, while we may have gotten a cheap price on the move, overall this move cost us much more than had we chosen a reputable mover who actually has trained professionals who handle the move from loading to delivery.   This is by far the worst moving experience we have ever endured (having moved several times between CO, NJ and GA).  We could not recommend Southeast Van Lines under any circumstances.     .
