   Piano Move.

   A friend gave me her family heirloom Baldwin piano that her mother gave her and her sister when they were kids. So we really were concerned about finding a reasonably priced mover that had experience moving pianos plus proper bonding and insurance. Superior Moving and Storage of Philadelphia, Pa was our choice. I communicated directly with the owner who was courteous and professional. The moving crew were very thoughtful and careful moving the piano. I highly recommend this company.

   I have moved many times in the past 40 years and have never experienced the professionalism of the 4 man crew from Superior lead by T-Bone. Upon arrival they very quickly assessed the situation in my 3 bedroom condo and the order in which to load the van, this made unloading it very efficient. They disassembled beds and desks and reassembled them at the destination and took great pains to wrap a particularly delicate dining room table. They had to maneuver down 2 flights of very tight stairs to load the van and up to 3 flights at the destination. Throughout they were very friendly and accommodating. They even rearranged furniture that was already in place at the destination. They did all this in 5 hours, including travel time of about 45 minutes. This move was a work of art.

   Superior Moving & Storage.

   This is the third time I have used Superior and once again they performed perfectly. The three man crew of T-Bone, Cupcake and Mike (who really needs to get a nickname) worked hard and worked quickly both with the loading & unloading of my goods. They ended up taking less time than anticipated and the cost for the move was lower that estimated. They even were able to accommodate a 1 day delay in moving that I had requested due to a problem that arose at my destination point. You could not possibly go wrong hiring these folks. I am 3 for 3 with them and would unquestionably recommend them!

   The men were incredible.

   My overall experience with this company was amazing! What a great bunch of guys working there! First, the owner was so nice and gave me all the information I needed about moving. He made me feel special and appreciated. Then, they called two days before our scheduled day to confirm our appointment, the men arrived on time (actually a little early) but they were respectful enough that they didn't bother us til the time promised). The men, who's names were Steve, Scott and Darren were polite, soft spoken and so respectful of our belongings! They worked their butts off! Never taking a break and they completely put me at ease. My only problem the whole day was that I couldn't afford to give them a bigger tip!! I would recommend these guys to EVERYONE! Thanks Superior movers!

   Actual Moving Experience.

   Superior Moving and Storage is just that.. superior to all other moving companies. You will not find a more experienced/professional moving company around. I have used Superior several times over the years and learned that no other company compares. My recent move took place on 8/10/16 and again it was done to perfection. The crew was truly outstanding! Not only were the men concerned about pleasing the customer (me), but they ensured that all safety precautions were in place in order to protect my items/furniture and property. It was very telling that the men enjoy their job as morale was high. The movers know each other so well, and each crew works as a team daily resulting in a coordinated move that provides efficiency and speed. It's very apparent that the company's leadership is strong and respected by their employees. Moreover, if you want the best movers, I highly recommend Superior Moving and Storage as it has earned my trust and respect!

   Another Compliment.

   I've used Superior Movers for two moves and will definitely use them again for any future moves, as well as, will recommend (and have recommended them) to others. For my previous moves, they arrived on time - moreover, they didn't waste time while packing and loading. Also, I have 3 storage bins and am confident that my things are safe and secure because I've seen them and they are. Hope this helps! Remember - people are quick to complain and slow to compliment - therefore, not many of the great experiences with this company are recorded; but, I believe that being in business as long as they have been means they have way more success stories out there that should be shared..and so, I'm sharing mine.

   Had Moving & Storage with These Thieves

   They placed my items on the 1st floor in what the owner called "climate controlled, security surveillanced" storage facility. What I found out 4 years later was moldy boxes, used, filthy broken appliances. Contractually Obligated to use them to clear out unit, "missing" items requiring police reports, insurance claims, identity monitoring. They DO NOT AND NEVER HAVE BEEN BBB. You have been advised

   Most horrible moving experience ever!!

   I received three estimates for my move and went with superior moving primarily for the price and what the owner said about hidden fees that others charged. He even gave me the name of their insurance company which he explained was included in the price. Sounded too good to be true and believe me it was. He said it would take 2 men 3 hours and 3 men 2. Because I live in the city and could only reserve the freight elevator for 2 hours I elected for 3 men. We initially agreed on 10 am but when I could only get the freight elevator until noon, I called back and asked them to come at 9. When he called the day before to confirm I reminded him I needed them there at 9. They showed up at 945 and then moved as slow as molasses. My property manager twice went to them because my time for the elevator was almost up and they still hadn't even started to move the furniture. The first time he went to check on them they were cutting up boxes. Since one of my boxes went missing, I have to wonder if they were cutting up boxes or cutting boxes open! With 30 minutes left and all my furniture still needed to be moved, there was no time to shrink wrap anything including my mattress!! Also my flatscreen tv was not shrink-wrapped or boxed up and was damaged in the move. We finally got to my new apartment and only had 45 minutes to unload and get everything off the freight elevator. After 15 minutes of nothing being done, my property manager gave me a 30 minute warning. I kicked it into gear, helped to load the freight elevator and took the first load up and unloaded the elevator myself. Somehow my job came in near the maximum quoted price despite the fact that I unloaded at least half of the items moved. Next time I will rent a u-haul and look for someone without work to help me. It would have been cheaper, done within the necessary time frame and I probably would still have all my stuff. When I complained to the owner he tried to make things right with furniture or a bigger TV. I don't want either. I just want honestly. Do yourself a favor and look for a reputable company with good reviews and not just the best price. Do your homework and make sure you are dealing with a reputable company. Some things can't be replaced and the so called insurance doesn't cover things you packed. Would have been helpful to know that before I hired them.

   Owner doesn't care.

   I would stay away from this company. They do not take care of their vehicles and they don't care about your time. As a result of not taking care of vehicles, they were stopped by Truck enforcement and told that their vehicle was not fit for the road. This delayed my move by 3 hours. The owner did not care about the impact on me as a customer. Its a shame, because the moving team was great and took very good care of my move. I would find another company if your time is important to you.

    Stay Away!!

    STAY AWAY!! They are crooks, thieves and should not be in business!  They broke a few items, damaged a few, overcharged us severely, bothered my new neighbors.  They stole one of our floor lamps, which we did not notice until the next morning (we moved on July 17).  One of the movers (Mike) was drunk, the driver (George) was rude and lazy.  The only mover who really worked said they took the longest way to get to our new place on purpose (so that they bump up their hours).  They made a 30 minutes drive into an hour and 10 minutes.  They complemented us several times on being the best packed apartment they have ever seen, yet it took the three of them THREE HOURS AND 15 MINUTES to move the boxes and minimal furniture (a TV, a TV stand and a couple of cabinets) from our 1 bedroom into their truck.  If I could give them MINUS 5 stars I would.
