The Salesman was so great and honest. They were so professional and delivered the best service I've ever seen. They were on time and extremely accommodating. We didn't have to do anything. Failed to provide service.
Contacted this mover 2 weeks prior to moving, arranged price, time, team, everything. Received a "confirmation" phone call ~24 hours prior to the move, where Joe tried to sell me more people for more time saying "he wasn't sure they'd be able to do it in the time specified" even though I was told "no problem" the first time we spoke. I agreed, thinking I just wanted to get the job done. Then I was told they accept cash only, at the now-higher price. I arranged the service two weeks ago, and they tell me at 10 am on a Saturday I need to provide hundreds in cash within 24 hours. Why? Because 3 people in the last 4 years have bounced checks, I was told. Terrible, terrible service. I was told they accept cash only, or they would not do it. I cancelled and went with another mover. DO NOT USE TRI STATE MOVERS.. they are shady, not up front with the terms of the deal, and try to sneak in extra charges when it's almost too late to find another mover. Very poor way of doing business.
